It looks like something Gandalf might smoke
Buy this. Just buy it. For less than $30, this is one of the best-smoking pipes I own. It looks like something Gandalf might smoke, but not to the point of being out of place in an everyday setting.I believe in posting accurate reviews: The bowl is actual cob that seems to be impregnated with some kind of an epoxy resin. This makes it very durable, but a bit on the heavy side. Because of this, it will also eventually get hotter than my other cob pipes. The fit and finish are a little rough, (but congruent with a pipe in this price category). In spite of this, I had to give it full marks for providing a long-burning, cool smoke with minimal bite. It makes for a great conversation piece (I've recieved many compliments on it), and it makes for a great travel pipe (if it breaks or is lost/stolen you're not missing a $200 meerschaum)...Overall, it's an interesting and uniquely beautiful pipe for an outstanding price.

My favorite pipe
I've had this for over a month now. I bought it as an inexpensive way of exploring churchwardens. I know this isn't a full on churchwarden, but I figured it would give me a good idea of what they would be like. Turns out, I LOVE this pipe. It is my favorite pipe to smoke now (over another cob and two briars I own). The only thing is that the bowl is a little on the small side. That wouldn't be a problem except that I like smoking this pipe so much that I'm always a little sad when I get down to the bottom. This would make an awesome gift for someone new to pipe smoking. It isn't a huge investment like most pipes, so if s/he doesn't like it, it isn't a major loss. It's forgiving (for new smokers), cool-smoking, comfortable to hold in hand, easy to pack, easy to clean, easy to store and carry (since it's smaller than a full churchwarden), and even aesthetically pleasing in its down-to-earth way.

Smooth smoke
Very fast delivery. This cob is one of many I have purchased from Missouri Meerschaum. This cob would be well suited for the beginner as it provides a very smooth cool smoke. It has a decent size bowl that lasts the better part of an hour. The stem is well build and fits snugly. Unfortunately I did have to do some maintenance as soon as I received it. The hole from the wood stem as it entered the heel of the bowl was not completely smooth. It had clearly not been cut properly restricting the draw significantly. The pick of a Czech tool was easily able to break off the excess wood. Overall a great smoking pipe!

Country Corn Cob Church Warden
This elongated country corn cob church warden pipe is amazing! Mine came with a psychedelic stem that was pretty groovy! Pairs well with some Cult Blood Moon tobacco or Apricots & Cream. If you’re new into the pipe world and are trying to pick up the technique, this is a cool, inexpensive way to have a fantastic pipe!

Simple and enjoyable
This is my first pipe. It’s very comfortable to hold in hand and mouth. It doesn’t get too hot and smokes for a solid 30min. Will definitely get another MM brand pipe again! 10/10 would recommend.

Great Pipe
Again, I love my MM Cob Pipes. I’ve been looking for a church warden for awhile, while this is not it, I do enjoy the longer stem. Offers a cooler smoke, very comfortable to hold. The only draw back is it is the smallest bowl of my MM Cobs. Wish it held a bit more tobacco. But regardless, very happy with this pipe and it’s become one of my go to smokes

Unsatisfied
This pipe looks like one of their imperfect pipes you would buy at a discount or a second. The stem is misaligned. There’s glue or some sort of residue at the base of the stem where it connects to the bowl and the bowl has several chips in the top of it, overall it looks kind of crappy. This is the second one that I bought. I sent the first one back because it was damaged quite badly, but this one will smoke I just don’t like to buy things new and then have to repair them. I’ve purchased pipes from them in the past without any issue, but I’m pretty unhappy with this one.

Nice looking pipe.
I like the shape of the bowl and the length of the stem. It like every other Missouri Meerschaum pipe I own is a good smoker. It does not influence the taste of the tobacco blend. The pipe is sold at a premium (as corn cob pipes go) but is made just like their less expensive pipes. Glue is slopped everywhere, the hardwood plug was not mounted straight and flush so there is a sharp edge that my fingers continually catch on. It is distracting and annoying. Same goes for the ferrule. It is not well fitted. I have noticed this sloppy work with several of their more expensive pipes.Having said all that, I enjoy smoking it but I’d enjoy it more if they’d take a little pride in their work and pay more attention when putting them together.
