I cannot sing the praises of these enough. For my first baby I exclusively pumped and did not use silverettes. My nipples were red, cracked, and incredibly sore. I would shudder every time I put clothes on or the water from the shower touched them. This time around I am breastfeeding my second baby and using silverettes 100% of the time I’m not nursing. They have legitimately saved my nipples. They aren’t sore, cracked or red at all. They are a breeze to clean and can be cleaned by just rinsing under warm water. The design keeps nipples protected from chafing or bumping into clothing, while also healing them through the silver. I was worried about them being indiscreet, but when used under a padded bra, or a bra with nursing pads, you really can’t even notice them there. I opted for the XL size, and I don’t even feel like I have exceptionally large breasts, but I was glad I did so, they are the right size for sure. Overall, I think this is a must have for anyone nursing / pumping. It should be a registry staple, and if your friends don’t have it on their list, I suggest getting it for them anyway. Love this product and so thankful for it!!

These work better than lanolin or any other nipple cream/ointment that I tried (I tried many!). The breastmilk accumulates in the cup and helps heal your nipples faster. They also protect them from rubbing against the bra. They are easy to clean. I have very sensitive nipples... I'm currently breastfeeding my 3rd baby and once again these cups have saved me from quitting.

Absolutely essential. I had noticed a major improvement in pain and how quickly my nipples healed in between feedings. Great for first time moms learning how to latch or just breastfeeding difficulties. I like to use with a breast pad inside my bra in case they filled with milk or leaked which they typically did but I didn't mind. Worth the trouble for the benefits. Be aware that these could show up under clothing due to their shape. Im not sure how the silver does its magic, but what a miracle product!

Pricey but very much worth it. Due to getting cracked the disposable pads was uncomfortable due to the sensitivity (even used the cream/ointment). Used these little metals less than a month and no longer hurts to feed now.

No joke. This saved me in a touch breastfeeding journey in the beginning with my second. I don't think I woukd have survived without these. If you're wonderinf if you should get it and if it's worth the money, just YES. Fit perfect, was super durable, and amazing value for my money. They are lightweight but not flimsy. You can tell they're made of high-quality material!

I literally got these about five hours ago and already feel so much better. I had a baby three days ago and have been trying to feed at least every four hours. My baby is latching well, but it’s rough on my nipples which previously were never given such attention. By today, I could feel scabbing starting to happen and the shower and bra are pretty uncomfortable. I put these on quickly after I got them and feel such relief already! I need to understand the science more because I can’t believe what a difference these have made in such few hours. I kept debating them and got a little desperate since I was rubbing a cream on and then smearing it all around my bra. I may continue using the cream but putting these on to protect from direct contact with bras etc is going to be key. I’m very glad I invested in these and look forward to continuing to breastfeed.

During the first month after giving birth, the silver shield protected my nipples from discomfort caused by friction. However, in the second month, due to breast engorgement, the shield left pressure marks on my breasts. Additionally, my nipples became less sensitive than before. As a result, I no longer use it. In those early days, the silver shield helped alleviate discomfort caused by nipple friction.

I bought 2 other knock offs before I finally splurged and bought these original silverettes, and there is a definite difference. These are better quality and work better to soothe and heal nipples than the knock off brands. My only regret is not getting the one with the silicone o-ring! It is much more comfortable with an o-ring. Just spend the extra money and buy these the first time around! It’s worth it!
