This item takes the place of gaffers tape or blue painter tape as a way to prevent tripping and to protect the cord. Great Idea and works Perfect. Only issue is watch out when you go to pull these up. On Industrial carpet squares the Velcro is so strong it will try to pull the tile up with it. "Time to put your foot down" on the tile before you pull it up the cord protector. It's well made and Works Great. I Found this item looking for cord covers and so it has been a total upgrade from previous methods. I think it actually is safer than any tape. So if you have the short pile commercial carpet (tiles or roll) Give them a try.

I was somewhat reluctant to purchase this carpet cord cover as one of the rooms I needed to use it in had a higher-pile, more luxurious, and more patterned kind of office-carpet than the usual (very low pile) office carpet. The simple Velcro-like system works brilliantly. The fabric cord cover is strong and sturdy but thin, contributing to a very low profile / low tripping hazard. It's incredibly easy to install, adjust, uninstall, and reuse. The product vastly exceeded my expectations and is a perfect fit for us. I used this in conjunction with a new flat HDMI to HDMI cord to connect a large monitor to a laptop in a large conference room... wanting to eliminate the tripping hazard caused by a large HDMI cable resting on the carpet. It's wonderful to have a well-fitting and low profile cord cover that does not use adhesive and leave a sticky mess on the carpet when it's uninstalled. Do keep in mind that this is not for use on home carpeting. It should work on flat to lightly textured carpet with tight and densely packed loops. Those loops function as the "loops" in this Velcro-like connection. The strips on either side of this carpet cord cover functions as the "hooks" in this Velcro-like system.

Cheap product, doesn’t stick for anything. Tried to use it to cover an Ethernet cord. So slim cord. And after pressing it down against my carpet, it started peeling upward again. Don’t waste your money. You can see the corner off the ground in the photo provided.

I wasn't sure if it would work on the carpet where I need it. After I received it, I tested it on a couple of rugs at home and it didn't work at all. But when I used it at the placed where I needed it, everything worked great. It was very easy to set up, worked great, and came off easily without ruining the carpet.

Very good for hiding cables. It is easy to use and it stick to the carpet we had. All the cable fit in and long enough for other place. it is thick enough and will not easily break. Overall worth for the money.

I've been using this for about a year now as a professional AV company and it is amazing. It seems like there's two kinds of commercial carpet - either gaff tape sticks to it, or it doesn't. Well this seems to behave the exact opposite. If tape sticks to the carpet, this Velcro doesn't seem to grip very well. But *most* of the time, this works very well. I got half a dozen rolls of both kinds, with and without the yellow stripe. We bring it to every corporate event now. When we remember.

These are great. I first thought it was one long one, but it's actually 2. That does make it more versatile. I like the fact that the velcro is only along the sides. It allows for the wires to move inside if required without having to pull the entire thing up. They fasten well to the carpet. They do not leave any trace when removed. They create a safe environment where wires are covered, protected, safe from tripping and not an eyesore. Great product!

Does not work on most of the Carpet.

This is a very good quality strong cable cover, but you need to have the right type of the carpet! All office type of carpets work, you better google this stuff if you're unsure. I've bought this very product several times and tested it thoroughly - it holds well.
