This robe is really nice for the price. It's perfect for random dark ceremonies in the woods under the full blood moon. With Prime shipping it arrived in plenty of time for the interplanetary alignment and subsequent summoning of the Dark Ancient Traveller.

This was a good looking costume. I am 5’9” and the robe came down to my ankles. The rope belt is soft cotton and about 3/4 inch thick, with taped ends but could easily be whip-tied. The hood and cowl are a separate piece. The fabric is artificial material and a bit shiny, so it would not be suitable for serious medieval re-enactments. But it is fine for Halloween or Ren-Faire, and with different accessories you could be a plague doctor, sith lord, etc.

Exactly the look I was going for. I'm 5'8" and 205 lbs, and the hem comes within an inch of the ground. Hood is a physically separate piece with that "extra" cloth around it, just like the picture. As indicated by the seller in earlier reviews, the rope is now appropriately thick. The rope I received was 5'11" including knots at the end. It doesn't hang quite as long as shown in the picture, but I'm happy enough with it that I can't dock a star for that. (Plus, I'm not exactly fit, so some of that's my fault ;) )

The hood comes to a point which is not shown well on the picture but other than that its an awesome costume. I wore it with a plague doctor mask to the texas rennaisance festival and it was a hit.

My husband chose this as an outfit for our groomsmen for a renniasance festival wedding. We were thrilled. We bought a few and they looked great on a variety of body types.

Fits perfectly. I am female, 5'11" about 150 lbs. Roomy enough, but not too much, plenty long, needed to hem, and slit sides so i could walk. Easy fix for night use on Halloween. It was exactly what I wanted and comfortable.

Very Will fashioned. Fits perfectly and the added details are well made. Well work perfectly for my plague doctor costume.

My husband used this with a Plaque doctor mask. I was going through pics and noticed how creepy he looked! Would definitely recommend.

Take the sizing chart with a pinch of salt, I bought the large expecting it not to fit as even though my chest size and height were in the right range (I'm 5"10 with 44 inch chest) I am a fair bit heavier than the recommended weight but it fits plenty big, where it loses the star for me is the fact the hood is pointed instead of round which really doesn't come out in the pictures, I bought the black but if you bought the white you could accidentally be mistaken for the KKK pretty easily in my estimation, other than that pretty happy with the purchase.

Bought this after carefully looking at the sizes on offer. Purchased the correct size. On arrival opened it up and it was no way the size quoted! Only approx half that size. And no I'd checked it wasn't in cms instead of inches. Very disappointed!

Its a good item but the sizes are on the big size. I went for the Extra Large because I didnt want it too tight, but there is loads of room and the sleeves and overall length is very long. I should probably just have gone for Large.

Very good quality, comfortable and easily to get in and out of. Survived an end of season rugby bus trip, that should be enough good word for the quality!
