Can this product be used on carpet or no?

Yes, our 6'x4' exercise mat can be used on carpet. It may shift a bit with vigorous workouts but not much. The larger sizes, Square36 6'x6' and 8'x6' exercise mats shift even less, as the larger sizes weigh more so this helps with shifting. I'm looking for a mat that will lessen joint impact from cardio/aerobic work outs that require rapid jumping around movements, will this one work?

I do high intensity zumba on my carpeted family room floor and i am afraid I will ruin my carpet. Will your Cardio mat--72"x45" both protect my carp? And it isappropriate for zumba?
