2 Pack silver U-Shape Hairpins

It’s simple yet elegant and holds my hair securely without tugging or leaving dents. The design makes it easy to twist my hair into a bun or updo in seconds, and it feels so much lighter and more comfortable than using clips or elastics. The quality is sturdy, and it doesn’t bend or slip out, even on busy days. Such a chic and practical accessory I reach for it all the time!

These are beautiful and well-made. When I first tried to use them, my hair kept falling loose and the pin fell out. I almost gave up. I watched the video, but my hair isn't as long as the model's and I didn't notice that the pin has to be inserted on the opposite side and then, "flipped" over to the opposite side when you're pushing it through. Took me a few tries, but this made all of the difference for me. My hair looks a lot more finished and elegant than putting up in a ponytail or using a barrette...and it doesn't get damaged. Bonus!

These work well, even though they’re metallic and don’t have grip like something with silicone or plastic parts. If you use them right, they’re comfortable and fit well on the head, though they’re a bit long if you don’t have super thick hair. The trick is to just get them to lay right so they don’t slip out or pull too much. It’s easy to get the hang of that though. They’re very lightweight, individually, and are durable. Though — I bought them in 2019, and they have finally tarnished in 2026. The gold looks the worst. As you can see from the photo.

They do not hold my medium fine, normal volume, 3” below shoulder hair in its normal state. Hair slips right out. If I loaded up on texture product, maybe would be better. Seems more for thicker, coarser, or very long hair. 3 stars because although not for me, they are pretty and nicely made.

These are great.. I have almost waist length, wavy hair and a lot of it but it’s sort of fine. Not really fine but just not thick. These hair pins hold it super well. I’ve purchased a handful of different “forks” recently and these are the best. Other purchases have lost their finish and the metal oxidized making it almost unusable, and some were just too flimsy to hold all my hair even though they were longer. These are the perfect size and weight. One thing.. out of the 4 in my pack two had what another reviewer called burrs along the inside of the tines. There were only a few but enough to snag my hair somewhat as it went in and out. Totally workable still but a little annoying.. not enough to take a star off though. I’m betting I could sand it off with something like a honing tool but I prob won’t bother. I’m actually here to grab another set bc my sister stole two and I lost another. I’d like to have them on hand at all times. So much better to put your hair up quickly without totally ruining your style as a tie would... let it down and it’s like it was never up. Long story short.. yep I totally recommend :)

They are cheaply mae and they don't have any curve, so it's not the most comfortable. Plus, it's made out of plastic which can slide easily and doesn't hold as well as a metal one

I have similar plastic pins and was looking for something more elegant looking. These are great! They’re sturdy, so they hold the hair but do not pull too much because they’re not heavy(half of the times I even forget they’re there). I think the matte coating helps too, cause they’re not slippery. The only downside is that the coating chips and scratches(they actually arrived with some defects), but it doesn’t matter for me - when the pin is in the hair- only a tiny part is visible- so it’s impossible to tell if there’s a scratch somewhere. So even if they will all get scratched with use - the updo will still look awesome.

The ends are too close together, unlike in the photograph. I can't get my hair in. DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE THICK HAIR. Wasted money.

Pretty way to secure a messy bun.

I was worried that it wasn’t going to be strong enough to hold my hair in place (I have a lot of fine hair), but it’s great. I twist my hair up into a bun, and the pin holds it perfectly all day.

At first I couldn't figure out how to put these into my hair. However, I googled a few instructional videos and this helped me a lot to figure out how to best use this in my medium length curly hair. After a few weeks of use, I'm now an expert at using them to put my hair up quickly and efficiently. It stays in and holds my hair all day.
