Watco 65541 Danish Oil Wood Finish, Quart, Light Walnut

I’ve tried a few other brands and I always come back to Watco Danish oil. It is easiest way to get a great look on my small woodworking projects.

I use this for my furniture business. It clears up scratches with one layer. I am actually amazed by how well it works. Have purchased in every shade.

This is the real deal. Watco 65541 Danish Oil Wood Finish, Quart, Light Walnut. This is very easy to apply to a existing furniture or new wood. If you use it on new wood it is best to use wood conditioner before you apply the Watco wood Danish oil finish. The conditioner will give you a more even stain on new wood. The wood finish leaves a glow on older furniture after it dries. I used a 100% cotton baby diaper to apply the Danish oil Use thin coats and don't worry about covering everything the first time. Read the instructions on the container. Let dry 24 hours before you apply a second coat You will like the results My furniture looks like new.

First, Watco danish oil finishes are great products, they blow minwax out of the water. I've used them for years and never had a problem. The problem is with the seller, Dave's Warehouse. I ordered Watco light walnut and they sent Watco Fruitwood. If a product is out of stock. please say so. Fruitwood will never be a substitute for Light Walnut.

I found an article about restoring the finish on vintage AR3a speakers on the web and they recommended the Watco Danish Oil as close to or the same as the original stain. After using it on my own cabinets, I can say that it is a perfect match. Using the oil with some 600 grit sandpaper and wetsanding the cabinets restored the finish and removed several water stains from glasses. They look brand new and original in every way.

It was so easy to use. The colour I bought is a natural teak tint. But I applied it directly after sanding. No sealant or top coat required. The finish was smooth and most importantly my piece was ready to use after 8 hours.
