Fit just perfect

Needed to get a replacement for a bung cap (plug) on a plastic 55-gallon drum that was part of a floating dock extension. I went to several local hardware stores to see if I could find one, to no avail. Based on the description, I figured that these were standard size and would likely fit for my application. After perusing all the available options on-line at Amazon (and seeing an example with coarse threads), I opted for these because they were fine-thread and they come with an o-ring type seal, too. Since they are made of high-density PE, I'm not sure how well they will hold up over time. Fortunately where they are positioned on the drums, they will not be exposed directly to sunlight for long periods of the day. Price wise, they were inexpensive. One pack will give me some extras and backups. [As noted in the description, the plugs don't have a center threaded hole that one could use for inserting a spigot or some other type of pipe threaded attachment.]

These fit the fine thread bung hole perfectly on my 55-gallon drums.

Very poor quality control, burrs left on. They didn't want to screw on, had to use a file to put an angle on the beginning of thread. Then it worked It seems to be sealed properly but I did not test that.

These fit my 55 gal water barrels great

I installed these bung caps on floating drums for a dock, worked well.

Coarse and fine threads are correct however “x”‘S for threading are smaller than originals making existing bung wrench unusable

Would only screw in about 1 1/2 turns before binding up. Returned for credit
