Easy to use, get to every drop
I use this as one of my gel flasks for cycling. Particularly when rides go long and I need to carry some extra calories, a gel flask works great. Three gels and a bit of water are my standard mix for a flask this size, and the Fitly 150 worked wonderfully.Of particular note, the bite valve works great. It takes a bit of a bite to open, plus either some squeezing of the flask with the hand or suction like using a straw. No waste, no drips, immediately closes. That is a great benefit over the standard push/pull type lids on many flasks, where liquid (possibly very sticky liquid if using gels) can leak out. Also, I have a habit with the other lids of catching my tongue in the nozzle; not a problem with the Fitly. There was no detectable plastic odor or taste, though I did give it a quick wash before using.I was a bit worried about the soft-shell design, whether I would have to squeeze the gel out like a toothpaste tube and maybe not be able to get to all my sweet, delicious calories. It really wasn't an issue at all. The walls of the Fitly are actually so flexible that, when you want the last bit of liquid or gel, you can just bite and suction like a straw and the walls of the flask will readily collapse and let you get all the liquid out.

Nice form factor. Excellent bite valve.
The 8.5 oz is the perfect size and form factor for fitting in my running belt.I like the bite valve. It's executed very well. You get a nice stream of liquid, and it turns off automatically. It's very easy to get every last drop of liquid from the bottle. As far as taste... You always have to expect a break-in period with soft sided water containers. I couldn't tolerate drinking plain water from the flask the first day I got it. but I fill mine with the homemade energy drink, so I don't notice the taste as much.As far as durability... it feels light but sturdy. We'll see how it holds up.

For those seeking to not run while holding a water bottle
After training for a 15K, I have been in the habit of doing a weekly "long" run. I was looking for a small water container to stay hydrated, as I noticed I would typically get a dull tension headache after cooling off from a 1-1.5hr run session without water. I tried a few items unsuccessfully, and didn't like hard plastic bottles. I also didn't want a hydration pack or backpack to carry around either. This bottle worked perfectly and fit into my Nathan compression belt. For a small, subtle bottle for moderate length runs, a soft hydro-flask has proved the perfect solution for me!

I just use it for water
I love to rollerblade and have the perfect track near me, but my mouth gets super dry quickly and must always carry water with me. I didn't want to carry a big, clumsy water bottle and a Camelback hydration system was a little overkill, so I got a Running Buddy waist pouch to carry one small bottle of water. The only problem with the Running buddy was that the pouch was not big enough to hold their water bottle and my phone. The Fitly Flask is smaller and very flexible so I can put the flask and my phone in the pouch for a skate (or run, walk, whatever). Gives me a few sips of water when I need it AND keeps my phone handy. Can't speak to how well it works for gel packs.

Exactly what I needed. Will buy again!
I was looking for something that was small/handheld, portable, collapsible and didn’t spill and I came across this product and decided to give it a go.Man, am I lucky I did... what a find. This is something I would recommend to anyone looking for that small source of fluid for a hike, walk or for people like me an easy long run for just something to keep your mouth from getting dry.

Great Product
Everything about this flask is awesome from the soft yet grippy texture to the bite nipple. Cleaning it also relatively easy and it is very durable. I have 3 of them used on my bike and run for triathlons.

Perfect size!
I use inhalers that make my mouth really dry, so having a very small amount of water in my pocket during a run is essential. This tiny little ‘flask’ is great! My only concern is that it can be tough to get the lid open at times, and it seems like putting a lot of pressure on the top of the flask while trying to turn the lid is going to rip the material and cause a leak. So far that hasn’t happened, but it does bother me. There is t a good place to grab while turning the lid, other than the material of the flask itself. So, while I love this container and how small and portable it is, I am worried that it won’t survive very long. So far, so good, however. I’m a good 20 runs in with this thing and have had zero problems with leaks.

Flexible-leakproop-collapsable-smell/taste free
These bottles are fantastic. I can run and not worry about it leaking when I run. I fill the large bottle and squeeze it inside the main section of my Fitly pack as backup hydro. The bottles are not meant for gels. They are meant for liquids. So to downgrade the rating based on that isn't proper. I keep a small one in my Fitly front pack pocket. These also are great to put in your back Tri pockets. Nothing on them to have to unscrew, pull pop or twist when your in the middle of moving. Just place in your mouth and squeeze with your teeth. Thanks for the great little gadgets. No problems with any smells or tastes. I have 2 of each size and have never had a taste of smell issue with any of them. Great product!

Great flask, awful taste/smell
Great little flask but taste and smell rendered it unusable to begin with.Tip tip... fill it with 1tsp bicarbonate of soda and water and leave for as long as possible, refreshing the mix every few days. Helps her rid of the awful taste and smell. Also use hydro tabs instead of plain water when you use it if it lingers (Or squash if you are so inclined).

flasque running

Perfect size!
Great little flask, ideal for fitting in the back pockets of my jersey when out for a ride or in my pocket of my leggings when out running. Also great to hold concentrate mix for long rides.
