Miracle-Gro Push & Feed All Plant Food, Easy to Use Cones, Green

It's a great choice for pot plants I water but keep forgetting to feed. It lasts for up to sixth months so feels cost effective. The only thing I would say is the cones can break apart in the post to varying degrees so slightly more work to put the individual pellets in but still works the same regardless

The cones had all broken up, so it's just a package of lots of tiny balls. Not very helpful when I now need to devide them into 10 separate portions. Not the easy plant food solution I was hoping for!

One star less because all broken so not able to just push a whole one into pot so guessed how much 🤷

I am a retired horticulturist due to disability and always used Miracle-Gro on the nursery as it does produce a good growth spurt and lasts a good 6 months if used correctly. It is definitely cheaper to buy the tubs of pellets but it has to be said that these are more convenient for houseplants, in particular if you are unsure as to how to dose them. Just ensure you use correctly. I have heard stories from previous customers about their use of fertilisers. Some think that because the roots need to receive the feed that you should place them below the roots of the plant. This is the worst thing you can do. The idea of these long lasting pellets is that throughout the period you continue to feed your plants. As the water acts as a vessel for the feed to pass through the roots if you place it at the base of the roots all that will happen is that the feed will go through into the bottom layers of the soil, under the plant and do no good whatsoever. Also, the effectiveness can be ruined by the pellets being in direct contact to the sun. The pellets and these cones should be placed directly above the roots but with a layer of soil/compost added to the top to keep the pellets away from the immediate surface and the sun. When you water your plants the feed will pass into the water and as it drains through the cone or pellets and therefore feed the roots directly. You cannot go wrong. I would definitely recommend Miracle-Gro and these cones for convenience in indoor plants but when using in large areas, use the individual pellets which are much cheaper in the 500g or 1kg tubs.

Not what I expected, the pods came apart as I removed them from the pack.

It is the second time I ordered Miracle Grow push and feed ...cones'. And on both occasions the product has arrived in the form of separate tiny 'grains' (the promised cones have all disintegrated in transit) , so not easy to push into the soil at all! Instead of cones, i have hundreds on little spheres, all just millimetres in diameter. When it happened the first time, I thought it was just unlucky due to a particularly rough journey, but it seems to be the norm. Not happy, I think the cones need to be pressed more tightly to retain their easy-to-use shape.

Great product. Problem free transaction would use seller again.

I can clearly noticed that new leaf coming about 2weeks after using this product!!!it didn't really bothered me that product came little broken as it will all goes to underneath plants which doesn't damaged the performance of the product.I will definitely buy again!!!

Works well not to mention simple and easy to use without toxic spraying that may not be good for your lungs.

Seem to be doing the job well.
