Really moves the air
In the open air you can hear the fan. However, we must highlight the fan really moves thecair! We are happy with fan performance overall. For our application we will keep an eye out for a four inch fan that is quieter and moves similar air, while also looking for one that is rated for continuous duty. We want to stress our use case is not an air bilge pump... as an air bilge this fan should be fantastic!!

Bilge Blower
Well I must say this bilge blower really moves some air. It is very easy to install and provided a great improvement over the original bilge fans. The increase in air flow comes at a price. It is louder than the original blowers but it’s not really a problem since it really is only used for a few minutes prior to every engine start. I’m happy with the two I installed in my Sea Ray Sundancer

Would buy again.
works well. good air flow. low noise. only annoyance would be the location of the screw holes for the electric drill.... have to go on an angle but got the job done.

Loud, but powerful.
A bit loud, but very effective and should make good shower/head exhaust vents. I am converting this skoolie and I have the head/shower room in the rear. Blowers exhaust through the warning light bezels with vent dampers to keep bugs out when not in use. Reliability has yet to be verified, but they seem to be a pretty good value.

This blower moves some air!
I installed this in my bilge last night and it really moves some air. It's by no means silent but it's quieter than the engine next to it.

Amazing for swamp air conditioner
After watching some YouTube videos on different swamp ac builds, I saw this one used to make a few. The blower is amazing for this purpose. I know this is not the intended use but wow. My car was so cold I had to turn it off. I have had several people see this in my car and ask about it and I have all recommended this blower for it.

If you have the Rule blowers get these
I have the rule blowers, and they're awful. Two jet engines in the engine room. I read another review on the attwoods saying that they were good and these were better. I agree. The Rule blowers are dinosaurs. These are modern fans. They're not continuous duty, and there is some noise, but if you're coming from the Rule blowers, these move more air at a FRACTION of the noise. They're not laptop computer quiet, but with the engine hatch closed, you'll probably have to check your switch or put your hand on the outlet to see if they're on.
