This is a game, not collector cards. Please read about the game and make sure you know what you are buying. Simple to play but you will have to read the directions to understand how to play the correct way, which is not easy to understand.

Too difficult. Takes the fun out of being a baseball fan.

This was a gift for my travel ball player and he loves it! Hours of hobby/collector time.

You need to be a real baseball fan to enjoy this. An average game takes about an hour. It's fun, but it would be better if you got more cards with the basic package so you could vary the lineups more. It would also be easier to handle your lineup if there were some kind of rack to keep your lineup i order. These are mostly just ways to improve it. All in all, it's fun for a baseball fanatic.

Realistic but simple to play, and I've tried most of them. If you like stealing bases you'll have to make the dice ranges for that. No clear-cut rules for that in the included rule book. No idea on the Advanced Rules obtained at the Platinum website since I am not using those yet. Simpler that Stratomatic but just as challenging, and not ridiculous and high scoring like a lot of other baseball games. A great buy for the money!

This is a quality made product.The components feel like they'll hold up with reasonable use.I've played other games, and had to buy protective sleeves so the cards wouldn't deteriorate with use.But:The problem with this prduct is that the PRINT on the cards is tiny.I measured 68 mm for 30 lines of data. That's a font that's a little over 2 mm tall.I need a magnifying glass to read the cards!!!I haven't read the rules, or played yet, but I doubt it'll be an enjoyable experience because the cards are too difficult to read.It looks like the game has plenty of detail. I counted 5 types of ground balls on the cards, (most games have only 2)!!!......

Ordered three days later it was delivered, undamaged. I was disappointed it was a game and not baseball cards, that was my fault I should have looked a little closer. The order process was a pleasure 5 star, I learned a lesson.
