Adult Elastic Waist Character Skirt in Multiple Lengths N8108

Everything was fine about this skirt except for the elastic waist. This says Adult skirt, so waist elastic should have more room. I'm a 30 waist and had to have elastic extended for better comfort.

I’m writing this review because I didn’t see enough reviews detailing fit for adults when I was purchasing this myself.I am 5’11”, about 150 lbs. I wear a size 6/M (US sizes) in pretty much everything. This skirt fits me well, but there is not a whole lot of give going up. I’d say it would maybe fit up to ~size 10, but you would be stretching the elastic all the way and I doubt it would be comfortable. I purchased length 30, and it hits me about mid-shin.This skirt is pretty good quality, on par with every other character/practice skirt I’ve used, and it twirls beautifully.

My daughter needed a character skirt to use for the summer program at the Royal Ballet in London. Looked around all the sites and found that these skirts could be quite pricey. Found this one here and am very pleased to have gotten it. Quality is good and it served its purpose.

I am a very frustrated customer. Received a miniskirt instead of the long, mid-calf black character skirt as advertised in the photo! Supplier has not returned call to rectify the situation. Amazon (Rambo & Kristin have) /has requested that I stall on calling supplier Discount Dance directly to allow Amazon to handle the issue for another day. It's been over 24 hours and I have heard nothing from Amazon. I called but Fernando of Amazon was inept in effectively helping me and I wasted another half-an-hour, just to tell me that no action was taken from the time of my initial complaint to niw, which is over 24 hours after. Further, that there were no notations after my prior complaint either. It doesn't seem like the prior Customer Service Reps understood what urgency means. I requested for a manager many times. It was elevated to Josh, a manager who took over and is presently working on resolution of my issue. I am awaiting a positive response from Amazon to rectify this situation and resolve the issue. There is urgency to this matter, I have not only lost 1 day but another, Fourth of July, tomorrow.

I think people are confused about the size of these skirts. You can see the sizing clearly on the seller's website. Look carefully-- the sizes listed are the LENGTH of the skirt, not a general size. So if you buy a 14 you are buying a skirt that is 14" in length. Bought this skirt for family member that is into dancing. I bought one of the longer lengths. Works great.

Mid weight stretchy dance skirt. Hangs nicely, swings with movement. Size is for length. 24" falls below knee and fits waist of slim 12 year old. It is exactly what we were looking for. Perfect for her jazz dance routine.

smaller than I expected. fits my normal size 10 year old.

I ordered the longest length which was as pictured (just below the knee) but the waist was very small. I would say it was a size 4/6 waist at the most. It would stretch bigger but it lost movement of the fabric. It actually fit my daughter (size 12/14) well and came just below the calf on her.
