Merrell Women's Encore Kassie Buckle Slide Clog

I ordered these when I noticed a price dip. They arrived, and I was so happy I had taken a chance and gotten them. The color they had in my size was noted as Beet Red. I was nervous about that, but, in fact, they are more of a Burgundy color and so beautiful! I love them. They fit perfectly!

I try on about 50 shoes for every one I buy because I hate shoes that squish your toes together (why are are most shoes pointed? People's feet aren't) Wide shoes are usually too big for me - so it's almost impossible to find a shoe that is normal size with a wide toe box. Also, if you wear them with bare feet, they don't smell because it's hey "REAL LEATHER" not some plastic blend. Since there is a slit in the corner with elastic to make them flexible (I don't like that) I just sewed the two parts together again because I have shoe making tools. I like solid rough shoes. No elastic for me. So if I could change something - I'd have told them to not put elastic in the corners. It might be perfect for office workers - but I walk 40 minutes a day in these - almost like exercise shoes! -- and I know I'd wear out the elastic in no time.

I do not what has happened to Merrell's quality. It has become a crap shoot as to the ordered shoe fitting. Have worn. 9.5 for years. In the past two years the sizing is anyone's guess. Had one 9.5 that was too small; exchanged in for a 10 which was sloppy large. So guess I need to find a nearby store where I can try on the actual shoe. Such a shame as I really like the styles.

This is the second pair of these shoes I've purchased and I LOVE them! The first pair was called "beet red", but were more of a burgundy, not so bright, thankfully! Both pairs were a perfect fit and comfortable right out of the box. The first pair arrived before I left for a 4 day event that included between 6-7 hours of walking on concrete floors carrying heavy bags. I wore them all day without discomfort of any kind. I suffer from plantar fasciitis, so arch support is important. The arch support is just right for me - not to much, not too little. The bonus is that they are also cute, even for short feet! Additionally, they seem to be well built and should last a long time! I'm so happy!

VERY disappointed in these shoes. I have been wearing Encores , exclusively, to work my 12 hour shifts , as a nurse, for years. They protected my feet from recurring plantar fasciitis. These do not have the same support, as previous Encores. Nothing but sore feet. Luckily, I still have my old shoes.

These shoes are wonderfully comfortable, right out of the shoebox. Several years ago, I saw a doctor wearing them. He said that for standing on his feet all day, Merrells were the best. I've worn Merrell Moab hikers for years, so thought I would give these slip-ons a try. They are even more comfy than the hikers. The most comfortable shoes I own. I wear them to walk the dog, for gardening and everywhere I used to wear sneakers. They are more comfy that sneakers and easier to slip on and off. And, miraculously, they stay on, even when I run in them. The old ones were in brown, which matched the colors of mud in the garden. Now, I'm happy to own a pair in black to wear to the big city. I also gave a pair to my Dad, who loves them, especially for mountain biking, his passion. Thank you Merrell!Update. I love these shoes so much I just ordered another pair. The new ones will be for "the big city" and the old ones for hiking, gardening, biking.

Very disappointed in these!!! I have bought Merrell clogs for over 25 years and these are not the same as my old ones! I have very narrow feet. The toe box is way too tight, not hardly any arch support and the leather is hard and uncomfortable. I have worn them around the house for a month now, and they have " broken in" at all. My feet hurt after about 4 hours and I have to change.Very disappointed that I was only given a month to return them, as I will probably never wear them again and I just blew over $50! Amazon should allow a lot longer than one month to return items! [ or the seller, whomever sets this policy!]I will now go the the Born [ Swedish] brand that I have also always loved! I bought 2 of their sandals this summer and they are 10 stars!!!

Purchased these to replace a pair the same style I’ve worn for probably 5 years. The old ones are still wearing great just looking worn. I’ve worn the new pair for 3 days and they have been comfortable and fit great. I would recommend these shoes.

Fit as expected

Habituellement je porte des 7 pour cette marque pour les chaussures de marche / randonnée ... mais le 7.5 dans ce modèle est très étroit au niveau du pied... pas confortable

My feet are quite small (size 4 1/2) but the Merrell size 5 fits me perfectly! These shoes are very comfortable. The leather is soft but seems very durable. I've purchased other Merrell shoes and have also been very pleased with them.

Found this shoe to be comfortable and classy.

These are the most comfortable shoes ever! There was no “break in” needed. Will definitely buy them again.
