Velox Deluxe Cotton Rim Tape 22mm x 2m - 2-Pack Box

I've never put on rim tape before. But after two flats back to back on the inside of the tube in the same spot I knew it had to be done. So I watched a couple of YouTubes including one where this brand was recommended. Seemed simple enough - and it was. Perfect fit and easy as can be to put on. I've got about 100 miles on the bike since installing this a week ago - and no more flats. The only question was what width to get. The video said to go with a width that's maybe a mm or 2 wider than the inside rim width. My rims were 21mm so I bought this 22mm width tape. It was perfect. But any wider might not have worked as well. Recommendation from this novice is to be careful of going much more than 1 mm wider than the rim.

Very nice quality rim tape. The 22mm tape fit perfectly on my 24x1.75 Sun Rhyno Lite wheels.

No worries about rim tape or bands sliding or folding over.

Just bought more of these. Had tried different types of rim tape but keep going back to cloth. These are just the right width for my rims. Had tried using 17mm but kept getting flats, the 22mm works so much better and totally fill the rim channel.

Affordable, very durable and works just as advertised for high-pressure clincher-style rims. Would absolutely recommend!

Thick non-stretching cotton with adhesive backing are the two recipes for a worry-free installation to permanently keep the wheel spoke holes away from your tube. Your only responsibility is to select the proper width.This is as good as it gets, folks.

I have been building bicycles and bicycle wheels for 4 decades, everything from high end carbon fiber wheels to vintage steel clunker/cruiser wheels, and the one absolute must have for any build without even a second thought Is VELOX rim tape.

I had a 26" rim that was causing flats, I changed out the rim tape and after 1 month I haven't had a problem. I'm happy. Recommended.
