work great
just what I needed

Gets the job done.
Much less expensive than other selection boxes. Does not come with box but are in bags by value. I suggest you take a magnifying glass and a sharpie pen and take a few minutes to mark the value on each bag.Spot checked a few. Specs are not the most accurate but no reason not to have an LCR meter these days as they can be had for <$10

Buy a tester.
The markings on these are hard to read. I have a lighted magnifier to work under and I needed it. Tiny lettering isn't unexpected on something this size, but at least half also had it running off the edge or applied so blurry it was illegible even under magnification. If you work with any electronics, you should have a good quick tester. Glad I do, because the specs on these are... way off. This latest project needed 220p cacitors, and that's what I bought it for. I could barely get four usable ones--the only four that tested about 200. The next closest was 185. The lowest was 95.+/- 20% is common for this type and isn't hard to hold to these days. Half of them shouldn't rate -25%, and none should be -60%.Who knows what the other values will test at.They're a cheap, quick way to get some values you need. At this price, it's worth that if you're willing to test them all before using them. Don't rely on them.

Bags not labelled
Bags came without labels. Not the end of the world, but very inconvenient. Would be easy for supplier to do.Missing 2pF caps. Some cap labels smudged.

Inconvenient, incomplete, but great value
These come in 30 bags of 10 caps each. There are no markings on the bags whatsoever - I spent quite a bit of time with a magnifying glass determining the values and writing them on the bags with a sharpie. A couple of the bags had caps that had no markings, or the markings were smudged or too faint to read. For those, I needed a component tester to measure the value. Minus one star for inconvenience.Of the 30 bags of caps I received, I was missing a bag of 680pF caps, but had two bags of 2pF. Minus one star for incompleteness. But in the end, this is a good price for this kind of assortment. Now that they're marked (by me), it's a decent value for the money. If quality control was higher and the bags were individually marked, I'm sure the price would be higher.

Not what I was needing.
These may work just fine. My problem was I needed capacitors for learning electronics, and these are considerably smaller than what is used for breadboard work. Additionally, many of these capacitors don't follow the three-digit code convention. Some only two or even one digit printed. If I was working on a smaller component, these would probably work just fine, provided I wanted to test each unit before use. Just not what I needed for my application, so I ordered a larger set instead and returned these.

Large variety of values, but identification of values is sometimes difficult
Parts are bagged by value, but only value identification is on the parts themself. The method to identify the value is inconsistent and not always readable to the unaided eye

These are WOEFULLY marked....and arrive in bags better suited for meth.
My eyes aren't what they used to be -- it's ok -- I have reading glasses. NOPE. Can't read any of the values that are so faint stamped on these caps that are randomly thrown into the tiny bags you see in the movies...you know...the ones that contain tiny pieces of meth....Update: changed my review from 1 star to 3.After struggling to read these caps values -- I did install 4 of them to help "hardware debounce" some Arduino sensors -- and they've been working fine -- hence the 3 stars.
