Surprising quality
Pleasantly surprised at how good it is for as cheap as it cost. Works very well. I used on a 2015 ford escape.

Very impressed! Much better than expected.
I've been working on cars, trucks, and motorcycles for 53 years. I'm also what could be called a tool freak. I simply love well-made tools. I have so many tools that people are stunned when they enter my shop. Surprisingly, one tool set I don't have is a caliper piston compressor set. That's simply because I've never needed one. I've done more brake jobs over the years that I could count but most have no required spinning the caliper piston while compressing it into the caliper and I just use a fast-action C-clamp or fast-action bar clamp for that. In fact, I'll still do it that way for calipers that don't require spinning the piston because it's faster and more efficient that using a tool like this. (Nothing to assemble, almost no screwing down threads (fast-action), etc. A couple did require turning the pistons but I was able to spin the piston using makeshift methods but that was a bit of a pain. However, I'll be doing two brake jobs soon that I believe will require spinning the caliper piston so I used that as an excuse to add another tool set to my collection. I just received this set and I am very impressed. I am a big suprised at a couple reviews that say their set had soft metal parts that bent. The only thing I can think of is that their set came from a different manufacturer and perhaps their T-handle and thrust bolt (threaded part) was made of pot metal like so many cheap tools from 10 or 20 years ago because every part in my set is good quality heavy steel. The threads are smooth and precise. I haven't used the tools yet but I have examined them carefully and I know good tools when I see them. These are good tools. There is simply no way that the thrust bolt will strip or the T-handles will bend. In addition, the blow-molded case is very nice. I had watched a video where someone used a set similar to this and they struggled to keep piston adapter on the thrust bolt assembly. It kept falling off. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that this tool has a magnetic base that the adapters fit onto. The adapters are held on firmly and will not fall off. As I mentioned, there was a time when so many inexpensive tools were made out of pot metal or otherwise so cheaply made that they were virtually useless, if not dangerous. But, happily, those days are past. There are still some cheap tools on the market, of course, but they are much less common these days. I started my huge tool collection back in teh 1960s. During especially the 1970s, I would expect to pay well over $100 (in 1970s dollars) for a tool set of this type and quality. Today the prices can be amazing. You just have to be careful when you buy tools. I paid less than $22 for this tool set with free shipping and no taxes! If you had told me that I could do that 30 or 40 years ago, I would have thought you were insane. Bottom line: This is a great value assuming you get the same set I have. Many products this day look identical but sometimes they come from different manufacturers so you may not receive the same thing that I received. But, if you do, you should be very happy.

Fair quality for a fair price
This is a great tool that works perfectly, but the gloves they sent with it were two lefts. Unless you have two left hands, you might want to buy your own pair.

Brake Caliper compressor to easily do your work
I purchased this kit because I had another kit but only fit with my Ford edge calipers, now repairing a 2007 Ford explorer I needed a different tool. So this kit brought everything you need doesn't matter what kind of brand car you have. Assembly quality: The productis built in good metal, I can see a durable product here. Ease of instalation: You can assembly different parts to get the perfect tool for your task, the boxes coming with a lot of parts, so whatever you need you are getting inside this box. Functionality: Very useful for mechanic or DIY projects. Value for money: The price is affordable, so value for money is 100%. I recommend this product and 5 stars so far.

Great value for price paid
I bought this kit to do brakes on my daughters Ford. It has different pistons in the calipers than my vehicles. It arrived in good condition with all pieces and includes more adapters than I will ever use. The case is a little thin and the adapters won't stay in place if tossed around, but this is not professional grade. If it was it would cost $100 or more. For the average home mechanic it will last a lifetime if taken care of. Will spend most of its time on your shelf anyway. Its easy to use if you don't rush and keep the threaded collar snug to the caliper plate (the long plate with the larger hole in the middle). With every turn of the shaft just tighten the collar up to the plate again and it will stay together. The key words are "don't rush". This type of kit is probably most helpful with the "rotating piston" calipers I've read about or pistons with the pad notches that must be aligned to the pads as a standard c-clamp won't work on those. I will experiment on my next brake job whether to use the RH or LH threaded tool for my non notched/non rotating piston calipers to keep the collar snug to the push plate easier. Otherwise its back to the c-clamp for me, unless I come across the other types again. Others have written reviews commenting about receiving a kit that was used. They probably didn't realize they actually purchased a used kit at a cheaper price. Be sure to pay attention as I almost picked by lowest price only to see it was for a used item. I decided against used as new is still very reasonably priced. Overall I would recommend this kit. It is a decent tool at a reasonable price. Can be a little awkward at first, but not difficult to use if you are patient and don't rush.
