InSinkErator FLG-PN Sink Flange, Polished Nickel

You would think for the price this would be powder coated. Complete waste of money as it chipped within 6 months. I haven’t been able to find a paint option to cover it since it’s not easily replaceable. So disappointing but a lesson to read reviews

This is not durable at all. Paint chipped within a few months with gentle use and only water and dish detergent touching it. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! It’s poorly made or it would still be black and not have stainless steel showing. I would give it a negative number if I could!

I was excited to buy a matching black flange to go with our new black kitchen sink and faucet, but within a couple months the black coating starting peeling off and it made everything look bad.SO.....I bought ANOTHER ONE, thinking since it said Insinkerator on it, maybe I just got a bad one?!The Second One couldn't even be installed because the groove on the flange, to hold the flange retaining snap ring wasn't deep enough to keep the ring in place, when you tightened it!I was so angry, I just threw them all away!! Arrrggh! I hate wasting money on a 'name brand' product that should be good!By the way, I even called Incinerator about both these flanges and they said, "Those are made by a third party, so we don't warranty them"......even though they have their name on it? Total crap!Like I said.....don't bother buying this!!

This product was exactly as expected. It's well-made, durable, and arrived quickly. I'm very satisfied with the quality. Definitely recommend!

I have this item in conjunction with it's stopper. They both work very well, and the stopper holds water wonderfully. In fact, the more water you put in the sink, the better it works under the pressure. It's a nice sturdy product, and I'm sure itll last 20 years.I am rather disappointed in the color though. This is NOT oil rubbed bronze. A real oil rubbed bronze looks like exactly that! Like someone took a rag, and wiped black oil on a piece of bronze... you should be able to see some of the bronze highlights showing through. This item is powder coated dark brown. It looks nothing like bronze at all. It's more like dark chocolate. I have my entire kitchen outfitted with Oil Rubbed Bronze metal, and this thing sticks out like a sore thumb. Normally, I wouldn't blame the manufacturer on this, since they all have different ideas of what Oil Rubbed Bronze looks like, but come on, Candy bar brown??? You Insinkerator guys make bulletproof disposals, but on this you could have done better.UPDATE! Since my previous comments, I have noticed the color chipping off this unit little by little. In no time, it will no doubt rust and become useless. I intend to replace this thing ASAP with something of better quality. I am highly disappointed that in less than 2 years the color coating is failing. This is obviously NOT powdercoated as I originally thought.

I returned it, but not because it wasn't beautiful, sturdy and valuable...but because I couldn't find a single faucet that I could match it to. The color was beautiful and both this flange and the flange cover (which I guess is sold separately, and I also purchased) would have matched everything else in my kitchen...but alas, I had to opt for an all black faucet, so I went with the black flange. I really wanted a black and gold faucet, but all the options I found, the gold color was either too light or too dark or too dusty, old and off. I highly recommend this product, if you can match it with a nice gold faucet.

Looks so good! Great quality! When my kitchen was remodeled they put a chrome one in instead of gold. My faucet is gold and the garbage disposal button to turn on and off is gold. So it took me awhile to replace and so happy I did!

Exactly what I was after to match the rest of the kitchen. Little bit expensive though, hence 4 stars.

I bought the item to replace a stainless steel one I had previously, when I changed my sinks and work top. It looked great when the plumber had fitted it to my smaller sink but only 3 weeks later the black coating has started to chip and flake off. It has hardly had any use and has not suffered any impacts. I wish I had kept the stainless steel one!!

it was installed half a year ago, so far no damadge or peels. Last one started peeling after two years. Will see on this one.
