SBM Supreme Light Diffuser for the Canon 550EX, 540EZ & Sunpack 5000 AF Flashes

Fits the 550EX snugly as advertised, diffuses the output, works as expected. No issues.

There is no clear click when this is put on a 550EX, but it fits snugly enough that it will not fall off, and you can adjust the catch/fill light proportion by seating it deeper or sticking out more. A little more transparent than the brand name, but certainly does the job well. Doesn't really fit into the 550 leather case.

doesnt fit most of my flashes,, actually none of them,, falls off easily, unless you want to tape it on, which is possible,

Works as promised, it just won't stay on the flash. I had to keep holding on to it while I worked with it. It was a bad fit for the Canon 550ex and I lost it the second day when it fell off and I didn't realize it.

Price was right - shipped fast - functions as expected - however it does not grip well to my Canon 550

I was getting shadows I didn't want, or too little light.It was daylight and I was in a north facing room beside some patio doors.Diffusing the light coming in still gave me shadows, and my flash was giving me shadows no matter what I did with it.I was contemplating all kinds of lighting solutions, a 2nd flash, diffusers, studio lights, etc.But I thought I'd give this a try.Popped it on the flash, and A M A Z I N G ! I was straight back into being creative again, finding the limits and H A P P Y.So long as you understand that lighting is a complex subject.And that a studio with a huge north facing skylight window is just about the only real solution that I can think of.That studio light options will ultimately be a better option.Then this accessory transforms the humble flash.OK my flash isn't so humble. But it is really just a single flash.It isn't the answer for every situation, but it is a HUGE step.Then consider the price, and there's no question about it.For me I now think of it as a mini (highly portable) studio.Adding it to the camera bag is obvious. What can I say, it fits on my 550EX....It diffuses the harsh light. As advertised

What can I really say other than it worked perfectly. It fits firmly on and was a pleasure to use a recent wedding.
