I needed something that would not leave a mark on my dashboard and I don't like something on my windshield, because it is too distracting for me when I am driving. And because it is not a permanent mount, I can take it with me when I travel and use if in a rental car. This cup holder mount was just the right answer for what I needed. The button on the back releases the two sides that hold the phone, so it is easy to release your phone. And I also like that I can adjust the position of my phone. I give this one a big thumbs up! :-)

This product is very easy to install and can be adjusted to fit a variety of phone sizes. I like the fact that it has an opening where the charge port for my phone is located for easy connection. The neck of the holder is sturdy, but not quite flexible enough to get the perfect angle I’d like for my car...more an issue of my car’s interior design than the phone holder. Looking at the design, it’s best for the deeper fixed cup holders than the adjustable ones that pop out from the dashboard or the shallow ones in the tray of our Honda Odyssey. Overall, I’m satisfied with this phone holder and I like how it doesn’t damage any surfaces of my car’s interior.

I have a small pickup truck and was tired of laying my phone flat across the console. I don't text while I'm driving but do follow a map very often. (I'm new to the area.) The part of the console that can be used for a phone is pretty low between the seats. I couldn't see it well at all while driving unless I picked it up and held it. I didn't feel safe whiledoing this. So, I ordered a tall, multi position, cup mount. I now have it in my truck and love it!! I bend it so that I can quickly glance over and see what directions I need to take. It's very, very handy, clean looking and holds the phone steady.

The package comes in two pieces and was very easy to put together. The base is pretty sturdy and heavier than other devices I've seen. The goose neck is hard to bend so I doubt it will lose its stance once you have it in place. I like the way it locks also. Unlike other brands that pops out and then retracts but seems flimsy, this one slowly opens and closes as you turn the knob which makes this base mount tighter. It fit well on my small BMW cupholder.My phone has a thick case and it fit snugly and was secured as advertised. Since I use an AUX cable, the bottom did not cover it and I was able to attached it without having to adjust the phone. I gave 5 stars on the suction power to not skew the results. However, this does not have any suctions which is why I bought this. Suctions don't last long especially in a hot car.

I used it in my car the day it arrived. Basically, there is no permanent "installation". Easy to fit and adjustable to any size cup holder easily - you can place it and remove in seconds so you can move it from car to car easily. It holds my Galaxy Note 9 IN ITS CASE which is a fold over type that holds credit cards - its a bit over 3/4" thick with the cover on and the grips hold it securely. The flexible support is sturdy and the unit does not wobble. What a great tool this is! I can easily see if a text message comes in or answer a call with a touch to the screen - no more missed calls. Also, really easy now to view when using as GPS! I highly recommend.

We had previously bought two suction cup style phone mounts for our vehicles. We ran into some serious problems with them as, over time, the suction cups would eventually develop an air leak, or if when driving we hit a big bump, they would drop off the windshield. There was one time we even had one come off the windshield, fall on the ground, underneath the brake pedal, and almost couldn't stop. Serious potential safety hazard!We looked into the car cup holders, and even though we didn't like the idea of losing a cupholder, both of our Toyotas have plenty of them. These mounts are very, very well made. They are adjustable and can pivot the holder in all directions. The base expands from very small to very, very large and sits well. We've never had any issues with them falling over or bending. The arm is very rigid and stays in place well.Again, loved this so much, we ended up buying a second one. We'll likely buy more as gifts for friends and family.

Easy to install. Durable adjustable mount that is flexible but stays in position after you set it. The phone adjustment is fluid and fits phone with case (iPhone 8), and has a nice seat for the phone with room for charging. I prefer the cup holder insert as I’ve had window mounts in the past that can fall off the windshield while driving. This one is easily transferred from one car to another. I would highly recommend this product.

I originally purchased the Weather Tech Cup holder thinking it was the best way to hold my phone in a safe and convenient place in my car. That was until I found the ABLEGRID We Guard Cup Phone holder. This device is amazing! The 'feet' at the bottom of the holder fit securely into my cup holder. Once tightened the base is totally secure. The best part of the holder is the aluminum stem that is very stiff and can be securely positioned anyway you want in order to get the best viewing position. I have a case around my Samsung S20+ phone so the size and the weight are no problem for this cup holder. It fits great into the cradle and the quick release button is positioned perfectly to get at the phone with just a touch. Because this is a flexible stem it naturally is not as secure as something that is solid that has no flexibility but that is a trade-off I was glad to make. Great product especially at this price!
