Perfect for my needs.
The smart switch I installed was too deep for the space. This spacer worked perfectly. It was exactly what I needed.

The media could not be loaded. Work well if you need extend you light switch and looks nice and modern. Little overpriced to my opinion

Perfect solution for an older switch box
My house was built in the '50s and all the switch/outlet boxes are fairly shallow. When I replaced one of the switches with a remote fan control switch, it was too big to fit in the existing box. This extender was just the trick to offset the switch/plate and get the needed room to stuff the wires behind. This could also work well for outlet boxes, if replacing older outlets with something like a modern GFCI that are typically a little bigger.The package was missing one set of screws, but Amazon quickly sent a replacement and all is good.

Did what it suppose to do
I installed a motion detection smart switch for my closet. But its kinda bulky and cant fit all the wires and the switch. So i bought these extender and it worked. Recommended for people having the same problem.

Solves a problem without extensive rework.
A great way to solve installing a device too deep for the box or interfered with in the box. Sturdy and an exact fit for standard box and standard device dimensions. Only other comment would be since this is mostly going to be used for a retrofit it would be useful to offer larger coverage for rough openings.

Electric box extender
for a little extension on my electric box, it works very well, easy to install..

Won't work for outside others
Got this for an outside outlet and it won't fit so I had to return it. Item is sturdy but it's overall size makes it larger than the outlet box so if you need it to be the same overall size as the other, tool have to pass on this one.

Great little extender.
Rugged and about 1/2 inch extension. Looks great where my placement as it doesn't stick out too much since the door trim right next to it makes it seem just perfect. Wires were really squished back there so this helped immensely. Great product and I recommend it.

Clever Design
I had some dimmer switches installed and they extended past the metal switch box. These extenders worked to hide that. Gives it a nice finished look.
