For those who know, it's a heck of a deal.
I've been building models for quite a while, and have done everything form a 1932 Ford t-bucket to the Original Scale Model of Deep Space 9 that Revell put out back in the '90's and I've seen lots of variety in quality of kits. This one thoroughly impressed me. Snap Tite models I've built in the past were lackluster in detail and often cut corners for mass production. Not here. The Details are crisp, the addition of customizable parts is unexpected at this price point, and the level of interactivity is also a pleasant surprise. This model comes with a moveable ramp, lots of clear plastic parts that have already been primed for finish, and even includes painted sections (albeit very simply painted, but still workable as a guide for finishing). With the use of some Army Painter washes and a little acrylic detailing, I think this model looks just about ready to fly! I did some modifications to the landing gear as they are a bit tricky to get in and out of the original pegs and I wanted to show this model both on its landing gear, and in flight mode. I cut the pegs back a bit and CA Glued some magnets to the setup along with some metal greebles to the landing gear pods so that they could be easily swapped out. All-in-all, I loved this build. Took me about 3 hours from closed box, to finished, painted kit. LOVE IT!Edit: the images I've provided are after paint washes have been applied, hence the masking tape in the final image. She didn't look quite this convincing out of the box, but i wanted to show what could be done with it.

6 hour assembly
Great model to assemble with a kid under 12, otherwise great model for kid older than 12 to assemble on their own but it will take a few days, 6 hours for me. Great detail. Lots of pieces left over but not sure why. All pieces fit perfectly, great scale and detail. All snapped together perfectly. But most of time was spent sawing pieces off since tabs are very thick. steak knife and nail file/emery board is all you need and some patience. Final model product is awesome.

Great kit for the price
I got this to kill time during Covid. The model is a nice size and looks good without any extra painting. However I did weather it after assembly. If you are used to making Japanese kits this may be a bit of a letdown. The detail is good and assembly was not difficult at all. Be prepared for some sanding where you cut the parts off of the sprue. The directions are ok but some steps don’t tell you how to orient some of the parts. The picture doesn’t help in some instances but you can figure it out when test fitting. All in all I would buy another kit in this line. I did use liquid cement as well just to make sure it stayed together but it is not necessary. I did also build it with the round radar not the rectangular one. The model comes with both.

Large Kit at a Reasonable Price
The selling points for this kit are size, price, snap construction and pre-painted details. The exterior of the kit is well detailed. But there's not much interior detail, especially where it's needed the most, in the cockpit. And the kit DOES NOT come with figures of Han or Chewie. The amount of pre-painting done on the kit is minimal, but includes pre-painting of the canopy frames for the cockpit and gunners' positions . You'll find the clear portions of the canopies have an opaque appearance. (This was likely done to hide the kit's lack of interior detail)Most of kit's parts seem to be adequately molded, except for the "Quad Cannons". For the builder that wants a more accurate look, you'll probably want to rework or replace these.Kids will certainly enjoy building the kit "as is" right out of the box. They should also consider weathering some of the features. Even young, inexperienced builders can do this using a cheap set of watercolor paint to recreate the Falcon in all of its rusty, oil-stained glory. This kit will rate between 3.5 and 4 Stars. If accuracy and exact scale proportions are important to you, 3.5 stars is where this kit lands. But if ease of construction and size are your main concerns, then it's a 4 star kit.

Pretty dang fun.
This brought me back to the days when I made models as fast and I could afford them. Without the mess, toxic fumes, or a significant amount of time. I was surprised that it took several hours, I was expecting just a few minutes . A lot of time was spent cutting the parts off the tree and cleaning them up. Get an xacto knife if you don't have one. Admittedly I cleaned more than necessary. Speaking of perfection, does anybody know where part 47 goes?I think it should come with a stand for if you build it with landing gear up but it looks great with the ramp down so there's that.It looks great from a few feet and acceptable closer. It's not advertised as screen ready. Many issues could be fixed if I wanted to spend a few more hours with filler and paint but I'm happy with it as is.A first time modeler might need help from someone handy.(Templar knights not included, no glue was used during this construction, filmed in final location)

MILLENIUM FALCON
Great build, it was simple n yet very detailed. Great buy, definitely gonna get more of the same product in other ships.

Fun!
I really enjoyed putting this together as a gift for my Dad! It did not take more then a few hours. The only issue I had was how the windows for under the blasters on the top and bottom of the ship did not fit/snap into place so I had to glue them down. Also. In the instructions it says to use tape - I recommend glue (I used nail glue as it was all I had at the time of building). In all, it looks awesome on display and was a fun build!

Decent for the price
Not the best 1/72 scale Falcon model out there, but the cheapest. It goes together pretty easy, and looks OK, but it's out of proportion to its self. When finished, it looks like a fat version of the Falcon.Kids and beginners will like this kit as it basically snaps together, and makes a cool display model.I have built the Bandai version of this bird, a smaller version, and it looks awesome. The only reason I got this kit was because it was cheap, and I wanted to give it a try to see how it was.
