Riton X3 Tactix PRD, Red Dot Sight, Black

I was looking for a red dot optic for my newly purchased Taurus TX22 Competition .22 caliber pistol but wasn't looking to spend a lot of money. I've used this optic in 3 competitions thus far and have been very pleased and impressed. It mounted easily and sighting it in took less than 10 minutes and the accuracy is exceptional. The multiple brightness settings makes it very versatile in various levels of outdoor light. This was my first red dot optic and it has dramatically improved my accuracy and confidence with my aging eyesight. I highly recommend this sight.

I was unsure when I purchased this sight as it was half the price of an RMR. Do I risk two hundred? I'm glad I did.But I first put it on a pistol and then later on my 30/30.It is holding up very well. One thing to watch is the adjustment screws do not have clicks, so a little small turn at a time does the job when sighting in. I do wish it had the sleep/wake up feature that my Romeo Zero has, but the Riton is waterproof where as the Romeo is not.

Have not used enough to determine reliability. So far so good. Remember to turn off and on.

I was in the market to buy a red dots for wife’s Glock 19. A red dot with great reviews and affordability. This fit the bill sort of speaking. Quality, fit, ease of operation, and function is what I got from this Riton optic.

Put this Riton prd on my Marlin 1895G and all I can say is wow. Sighted it in at 55 yds which was very straight forward. Shot 5 rounds all within 1/2" hole which is the best accuracy I've ever got out of this rifle. It withstands the recoil of a 45/70 with ease and holds zero. Sat in the blistering cold and rain/snow on opening day here in Ohio and the sight had no issues. Even when the glass had water on it I could clearly see the red dot. Smoked a nice doe at 65ish yds with incredible accuracy. Will soon be purchasing another for a different rifle. I can't speak on the durability just quite yet as I've been very careful with the sight but opted to buy this over the trijicon to save some coin and I'm not disappointed at all.

Red dot lasted less than 10 rounds before the battery tray shorted out. Returned to riton for a replacement dot and the replacement dot lasted less than 30 days of hunting before it qyit working as well. Will never buy another riton red dot again. Save the headache for yourself and order a holosun.

Love the optic but it dose not fit a sig m18.
