Bamboo Kendama with Translucent Blue Ball with Extra String for Kids Teens Adults Festival Gift

This is a lot nicer than I expected! Good quality material, and a great color option. I bought it as a gift for one of my students. He really seems to love it!

This toy was perfect! I bought it for my husband but would be great for all ages! Great value for money! Was great quality! No complaints!

This was the first kendama that I ever bought. And I loved it!The wood look of the bamboo is absolutely beautiful! and when it first arrives you indeed can see the bamboo grain through the blue paint color on the Tama period it's gorgeous!The paint is shiny and slick. Which is not great for a beginner. I didn't know much about kendama, and was afraid it was like cheating to buy one that had a sticky or rubber coating. It's not. if you are brand new to kendama, you should absolutely buy one that has a sticky or rubber coating.This one works great, but you need to break it in. that means you need to play it, and let the tama... The ball... get chipped and dented. This makes it stick better in the cups. and with this one, the chipping and denting happens very quickly. after just my first couple of sessions playing, the ball was all chipped up and a mess. which is fine, this is the type of toy that you like it to look loved. But once it starts to chip, you no longer notice the beautiful grain through the paint.A couple of months, and multiple kendamas later, and I never use this one. but I would consider buying another one, and not playing it, just so it could sit on my shelf and look pretty.

So this is a really nice color and the wood is soft and smooth. Came with an extra string. I loved this as a kid and got it for mine now, I got every single one on the first try. Both sides, side flat, bottom of stick and I even strung it back on the little hole that holds it in place. This is a fun simple toy and I think it is very nicely put together. I really like the color of the blue and the wood design it has. The wood is nice and smooth and good to grip! If you are looking for this toy, this is a great one to get. It has a good weight to it too! And it is a good size I think, not too small! They can get to small I think and this is a good size in My opinion.

The kendama bamboo was crafted very well although the ball was simply painted blue; not a translucent marble as shown.

It has been used dozens of times and my husband is quite obsessed. The paint is starting to chip a little, but I figure that’s normal considering it is wood. Great cheaper option for someone trying to learn.

This is a super cool little toy. It is not only beautiful, also very addicting. My 11 year-old LOVES this and has been begging for one for a month. Has not put it down since he got it! It's a great challenge. Great shipping and as expected. Packing was less then desirable as it would have be nice to come with some instruction or games to practice. Get one for everyone in the family!
