Bought to protect my kiddos toes. Easy to install, simple and effective. No complaints

I didn't like that the description didn't give exact measurements, but it was very small and I have 6" gutters! I would say 3-4 inches wide at the most.

I used a thin, flat-head screwdriver to help guide the caps on. I was able to put them on some downspouts that were damaged a bit from the lawn guy hitting them. Most seem to stay, but a couple have been knocked off a bit (not completely) by the lawn guy. I just take my thin screwdriver and slide them back on. Overall, I’m very happy with these. By the way, if they were easy to put on, they would come off easily. All you need to do is find the right technique.

Great product and idea. It’s made out of terrible material though. It broke as soon as I tried putting on the first downspout.

These are for down pipes that have a perfect straight edge

I searched all over looking for this type of product to finish up some work I recently did on our downspouts. These caps are a little tricky to install, but, if they were easier I might be concerned that they'd come off on their own. They appear secure, weather well, and prevent cuts when lifting our hinged downspouts.

If your gutter downspouts are already damaged, you can’t get it to fit around the opening. You would have to install these when your gutters are basically new.

Helps protect the dog.
