I had nagging plantar fasciitis pain. Every morning it hurt to put my right foot down. These knocked the pain out in less than a week.

So after using this product for over a year (really longer than that), I started to feel pain in parts of my feet. Considering I was supposed to replace it every six months, I figured this was mostly my fault, so I went on ahead and bought another pair. This was the ultimate test of just how good these insoles really are, a comparison of before and after, especially with me working at an Amazon fulfillment center where I am on my feet all day on those hard floors. After almost two months using the new pair, I can say with absolute certainty that the product works as advertised. Keep in mind, that no insole, shoe or sock will give you total pain relief doing what I do, which is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. It does a damn good job relieving the pain. I know that for a fact now. And for those wondering, I'm not just talking about the hill area, but the entire foot. The hill area is the primary focus, but it also provides support for the ball of your feet as well for instance. I know it helps that area as well, unlike what some people claim, because that is where a lot of my pain came from.It’s pretty much been gone ever since I replaced my insoles. Keep in mind though, that if you are stressing your foot out like I do every day, and you don't stretch it, pain is going to rear its ugly head no matter what shoe, insole, or thick wool sock you use. With that said, the one big negative I do have to say about Protalus insoles is the lack of support for those who are flat footed, and this is where the title of this review came from. If you are flat footed, then these insoles probably won't do much for you, going by the experience of numerous people I worked with. Getting flat footed shoes will do with thick wool socks will do more for you than any specially made insole most likely. I don't know what kind of Insole Protalus can come up with for flat footed people, because these aren't quite getting the job done. I know Protalus wasn’t cutting it for least two of my co-workers who are flat footed, so something has to give there. Luckily, I have an arch in my feet, so this is not a problem for me.

I have Protalus insoles in almost every single pair of shoes that I wear for any extended period of time. I'm a customer for life.

I have flat feet and they help my ankles and foot not be throbbing by the end of the day. Sometimes it makes my arches hurt tho

I have tried several insole orthotics. The Protalus T100 Thin Insoles are used in my everyday tennis shoes and dress shoes. I have several Protalus. They don’t squeak. They are very supportive. I weigh over 200#s and I have flat feet. There is no more pain in my feet nor my knees

I have ordered several pair of these inserts over the years. I suffer from ankle pronation and these fit well, are comfortable, and help my shoes last longer because the insides of the heels don't wear down as fast. I have them in three pairs of shoes which I alternate wearing so the inserts will last several years before wearing out.

Get the thick ones for real support but they are great in tennis shoes

Bought these for my dad and he tried wearing them for weeks... He saw ZERO improvement and his feet felt worse. Don't waste your money.
