Great Value for Money
Great value. Easy to use. Could be a little quieter. Noise not too terrible. But noticeable. I would recommend and buy again.

Easy instructions, feels sturdy
It's blowing cold air, so that's definitely a positive. Installation wasn't nearly as bad as I'd expected. That's coming from someone who isn't at all handy, so keep that in mind. The unit itself seems very sturdy. As you can see in the attached pictures, the side of my box had something punch through it hard enough to basically smush the metal radiator panel smooth in a spot, and the unit is still humming along just fine. No hole in the shipping box, only the product box--not sure what that means. I've also attached a picture of the list of whats needed from the top of the box. If you have storm windows, you'll need a whole bunch more. Luckily I have a basement full of inherited wood and tools, or I would've been up a certain creek without a paddle. As for the features, I'm very happy with the remote and general ease of use. I originally thought the Follow Me feature was stupid, but rethought when the unit set at 68 degrees shut off while the thermometer not that far away said 72 degrees still. Without it, the auto setting is kind of useless in anything other than a square room. Air just doesn't move well enough in a longer, rectangular room. My main floor has the kitchen and dining room split from the living room by a long wall down the center of the house. The unit was for the kitchen/dining room side and placed in the dining room. Without the Follow Me feature, only that immediate area was getting cool while the kitchen just a few feet off to the side wasn't getting much cooling. Now, the unit keeps putting out cold air until the whole area is cooled off. Great feature. All in all, the unit is pretty great for my needs. The damage seems mostly cosmetic, and there aren't any strange sounds that aren't accounted for in the instructions' guide to sounds the AC will make. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the instructions treated having storm windows like an afterthought. Are there so few storm windows out there that they only warrant a single paragraph that doesn't say much more than shove some wood under it and screw it down? There's a diagram, but isn't terribly helpful, either. It isn't exactly rocket science, so I figured it out, but sometimes a guy wants his hand held. It isn't like saving paper and ink was a huge priority considering the remote has a guide book thicker than the actual instructions. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the AC and would order from Perfect Aire again.A few tips: 1. The unit sits on a cardboard and foam pallet that doubles as the bottom of the box. The plastic straps hold the entire five sided top of the box to the pallet. Cut the straps and lift the whole top off. Don't be like me and cut the tape, open the flaps on the top side, and then wonder how you're supposed to lift an air conditioning unit straight up without finger holds. 2. If you have storm windows and the bottom bracket on the outside is higher than your windowsill, you will need a piece of wood for the unit to sit on. Cut it before you get all sweaty from assembly. The diagram is on page 13, not 7 like the instructions say. It isn't terribly informative, but keep in mind there are rails on the bottom of the unit that keep the accordions in place when you are planning and measuring. 3. If you can't get the bottom tab of the accordions to slide in, turn the bracket a little and pull the folding section out the side so you don't constantly have to stretch it. Or just put the unit on a table or chair. I did mine on the floor against the advice in the instructions, and it added a few frustrating minutes to my assembly.

Replaced several indoor air handlers
Since buying a 3 zone Perfect Aire mini split, I have replaced 4 air handlers, one only lasted 1.5 months and 2 more are leaking freon(less than 1 year old). I'm going to replace the whole system with a different brand. Perfect Aire mini split has been a terrible product and I wouldn't recommend.

This is the second one I bought and it works just as well as the first.

Ice cold AC in the Florida heat
If you are looking for a new AC, this is defiantly one to get. Once you size your room, and measure your window opening the rest is easy to pick out the correct size AC for the room and window size. On the install itself was really easy and putting it though the window was easy enough once you follow the install manual. I did not have any issues putting it in the window and no fear of it falling out as it is pretty sturdy against the window and then secured to the window frame. The remote is pretty simple to use and give you the temperature that you set it at. You can also turn off the display on the AC unit it self for total darkness in the room with no glowing lights of numbers at night. At it lowest setting fan speed it can barely be heard and it a nice quiet unit as far as AC units go. The fan on high you can hear it, but it's more of a white noise than anything else and didn't bother me at night as the room was nice and cool in the summer heat. My bedroom is now the coldest room in the house and works as it should. Would highly recommend this for any room that needs cooling.

Company unresponsive to messages
I bought a unit in September of 2021, ran it for less than a month, unplugged it and stored it in my bedroom. Plugged it back in this June and the compressor will not come on. I tried to take it back to the store and they told me I had to contact the manufacturer...after 4 attempts of emails and numerous calls, I still have not heard from them! We have another one of their units and it works fine.

Came damaged
Heat level is in hundreds and I needed the air conditioner badly. When it got here the box was falling apart and the conditioner had damage. Was very disappointed I have had to sleep in living room because my bedroom is to hot to sleep in and my old conditioner quit working. Now I'm stuck on my recliner until new one comes or the heat let's up.

Quiet, works well
It's quiet and works well. Easy to install. Remote a bonus.Only thing I didn't like was it took a week and 2 days to deliver from Toronto area to BC . Despite that it's worth buying.
