HABA Play Tent Caro-Lini

We have this inour livingroom so we have a place for our daughter to play on the main floor (her playroom is on the second floor) We keep little storage bins in it to store her books and little toys and puzzles. We strung white battery powered lights through the top and it is beautful. She has a place to play in the livingroom and we dont have to look at a pile of ugly toys. It is very durable even despite her hanging out the window. Definitely worth the price for the quality and appearance vs the cheap plastic ones. I think this could be passed down to the next generation. It's THAT good.

Bought this for my granddaughter's 1st birthday. She watched us put it together (very easy). She watched Grandpa go in and she crawled right in. A few minutes later 15 kids arrived for the birthday party. The tent was the most used toy in the room. It was rolled, flipped and abused all afternoon! If a toy can survive that day I know we will get many years of fun out of it. Very well made, easy to assemble and very cute! I refused to buy the pillow accessory for $52. Bought 2 pillows at Homegoods for $10 each.

This is a high-quality indoor tent that is sturdily constructed, safe, soft, beautiful and will last a lifetime. My 26 month old daughter adores it, and often plays in it with her friends, including a 9 year old and occasionally I hop in. (It's a tight squeeze for me and the 9 year old, so I would recommend it more for the toddler set.) I contacted Haba before purchasing this tent because I wanted one that wasn't loaded with flame retardant chemicals, which nearly all others on the market are. Haba's tents do NOT have flame retardants in them, but are intrinsically retardant by nature of the construction of the fabric (polyester)--meaning, they do not add flame retardant chemicals like the other children's play tent companies do. (This tent also had absolutely no funky odor upon opening, and was very clean and easy to assemble.) Yes, it is higher priced than others, but for me it was worth the extra investment in my child's health and well-being, and my own peace of mind. (Flame retardants are carcinogenic and disrupt the endocrine/hormone system--kids get enough of that everywhere else.) I am grateful to Haba for this. In general we love this tent, and I am sure it will last for many years. It has withstood some rough play over the past 6 months!I docked one star for a couple reasons. The cone at the top does not sit and lie as pictured. It is a separate piece that is (supposed to be) hollow on the inside with velcro to attach it to the top peak of the tent, which is also velcro. The cone is far too overstuffed with filling, so that it will not actually cover the velcro, thus barely sticks and instead teeters sideways with both the white velcro inside it visibly turning inside out and leaves both that and the velcro on top of the tent showing. This is a cosmetic flaw, not structural, but still imperfect and somewhat disappointing, nonetheless. I also am not the biggest fan of the neon green colored top. Lastly, as others have mentioned, it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to fold up the way it was when it arrived and get it back into its tiny circular velcro storage bag. Hilariously frustrating. I consider myself pretty intelligent and common-sensical, and it took both myself and my equally smart, constrcustion-savvy hubby nearly an hour to figure it out (the bare-bones picture instructions are a joke, and are flawed/incorrect/incomplete/incomprehensible), where upon we both broke into a sweat during our several expletive-filled attempts and then finally shoved it in, bending the bottom ring in the process. (It is not an intuitive process, as you would think it would be.) So I recommend leaving it out as long as you can or storing it in a big closet with the poles out (they have their own bag), because parents do not have an extra hour to be foldin' up play tents and losing their minds in the process! LOL. Otherwise, we love this tent. We also purchased the seriously unnecessary and overpriced (tiny!) pillow and die-cut box, which was quite indulgent of us.

I have yet to find a HABA toy that my child doesn't love. This tent has kept her entertained for hours on end. Her reaction to the tent was simply priceless and I'm glad I had the video camera on. The tent is perfect and in Germany the age restrictions are laxer than here. On the box it said appropriate for 1.5 year olds. My daughter is 23 months young and I'd say the perfect age to play in the tent, of course with supervision. My husband is 6ft tall and he also joined her for a tea party so there's plenty of room inside this cute tent. The colors are also vibrant and sweet. Was able to set up the tent quickly with no need to air it out. Highly recommend this HABA tent!

So, obviously the dimensions of the tent are on the product description but it still surprised me how small this tent was especially the vertical height. It is well made and extremely cute but doesn't look like a $150 tent. Easy to put together. Would be great for a smaller home (like mine). Folds up nicely. If you are even a relatively tall adult and plan on getting into the tent with your little one, maybe go with something bigger.

I bought this for my daughter when she was 15 months old and she is now 2 1/2. (We also have an almost one year old daughter now) They both LOVE it and it is used every single day! It is the perfect size for them to grow with and has withstood many "beatings" from my 2 1/2 year old. Great quality, you are getting what you pay for! Not to mention how truly adorable it is.

Llegó a tiempo y en perfecto estado. Es una tienda muy bonita tal y como aparece en las fotos. La compramos hace meses y sigue en perfecto estado. Es amplia y cabemos nosotros con mi hija (ocupa bastante espacio por lo que hay que tenerlo en cuenta). Es de tela y no de plástico así que no da calor cuando está la niña dentro (eso es lo que más me atrajo del producto). Un poco cara (por eso le bajo una estrella a la relación calidad-precio). Estamos muy contentos. Sin duda la recomiendo.

Può sembrare un po' cara, ma assicuro che vale i soldi spesi. Ormai sono 5 anni che è compagna costante dei miei figli. Maltrattata in ogni modo, trascinata,calpestata, rovesciata, abbattuta, piegata...mio nipote di 10 anni l' ha calpestata rovesciata e si è rotto un bastone, facilmente sostituito. Ma le cuciture non hanno ceduto, i bastoni non hanno bucato il tessuto, i colori ancora belli nonostante i lavaggi. Ai bambini non è che piace, le vogliono proprio bene e credo sarà uno dei ricordi più cari della loro infanzia.

Ich habe für meine Enkelin schon mehrere Artikel von Haba gekauft, bin von der Qualität überzeugt und habe mich auch in die schönen Spielzelte verliebt. Nachdem sie erst eineinhalb Jahre alt ist, habe ich die etwas kleinere Version Caro-Lini gewählt. Meine Erwartungen wurden wirklich übertroffen, das Zelt ist einfach süß, die Farben sind kräftig. Was für ein hübscher Rückzugsort für kleine Prinzessinnen! Wir haben beide Platz, daher halte ich das Zelt für geeignet für bis zu drei Kleinkinder. Ich hatte Bedenken, wie sich wohl der Stoff anfühlen würde, hatte eine Art Folie befürchtet und wurde sehr positiv überrascht. Obwohl aus Polyester, fühlt sich der Stoff wie ein weicher Baumwollsatin an, raschelt nicht und riecht auch nicht unangenehm, Knitterfalten halten sich in Grenzen. Laut Etikett ist der Stoff bei 30° waschbar, das kann aber höchstens in der Badewanne gemacht werden, denn die Ringe sind fix eingenäht. Das Zelt ist in wenigen Minuten aufgebaut und genauso schnell und leicht auch wieder in einer praktischen flachen Aufbewahrungstasche verstaut. Es funktioniert mit zwei Ringen so ähnlich wie ein Wurfzelt, dann sind noch fünf Stangen, für die es ebenfalls einen Aufbewahrungsbeutel gibt, zusammenzustecken und innen im Zelt in Tunnels einzufädeln - fertig. Das Zelt ist also auch gut für gelegentliche Besuche geeignet oder wenn es aus Platzgründen nicht ständig stehen bleiben kann. Die Verarbeitung ist aufwendig und detailreich, die "Eingangstür" ist mit rosa kariertem Stoff gefüttert und wirkt damit auch widerstandsfähig. Als potentielle Schwachstellen sehe ich den Netzstoff bei der "Hintertür" (nicht zum Öffnen) und die Stofftunnels, in denen sich die Stangen befinden, hier könnten sich vielleicht deren Enden durchbohren. Aber das ist nur meine persönliche Einschätzung und als Hobbyschneiderin sehe ich darin auch kein großes Problem. Was ich sehr praktisch finde: die beiden Ringe (der untere hat einen Durchmesser von 120 cm) sind sehr flexibel, sodass man ohne weiteres mitsamt dem Zelt durch eine Tür, z.B auf die Terrasse, gehen kann, indem man die Ringe leicht zusammendrückt. Die Ringe sind übrigens relativ schmal und flach, so dass ich kein erhöhtes Verletzungsrisiko für die Füßchen sehe, wenn die Kinder draufsteigen, wie in anderen Rezensionen zu lesen war. Man kann alles dramatisieren, wenn man will. Ich kann das Spielzelt Caro-Lini wirklich empfehlen und werde sicher auch noch eines der wunderschönen größeren Zelte kaufen. Schade, dass es keine passende Bodenmatte gibt, das wäre dann perfekt.

Peu encombrant, et très facile à monter.Coloris très attractif surtout pour les enfants handicapés.Ma petite fille qui est dans ce cas s'y est précipité pour le lover sur les coussins que nous avions disposés à l'intérieur. Elle a de suite apprivoisé l'espace de façon visuelle et tactile.Je suis très heureuse de cette acquisition qui va, je l'espère, participer à son développement.

All HABA toys are great quality, and this is no exception. It's a bit pricier than some, but very well made and very sturdy. It has lots of room inside and my girls love hiding in it. I've also tracked down the matching cushion on amazon.de, so very happy with both.
