Oil Flo - Safety Solvent Cleaner - 1 Gallon 7004

I had to remove some old floor tiles that I suspect contained asbestos. I suspect asbestos was also present in the mastic. Scraping mastic is a really bad idea if contains asbestos, because then the fibers become airborne and contamination results. This product is messy, but it keeps the mastic wet so it can be mopped up with fibers intact. It took a gallon and a half to remove about 450 SF of floor mastic, and I have to order another gallon to get a final clean. The smell is strong, but I wore a 3M HEPA respirator and it saved the day.

Used it to remove linoleum tile mastic from concrete basement floor -- nothing else worked. Easy cleanup with water -- we used a hose and just sprayed it down the floor drain, since it is biodegradable. Be careful not to let it dry, or you'll need more to get the dried stuff off.

I used this product to remove a tar layer from the basement concrete floor. It virtually dissolved the tar & could be wiped up with a sponge & bucket of water. I did work in small sections but it worked like a charm! Very happy with the results.

I used this to help take up 70 year old tar. It was AMAZING!!!!! It does require more water then videos online say but that maybe just because my tar was so old. I will buy more to get up the oil and grease on my garage floor.

This stuff is amazing! I have used this for years mainly for laundry stains and if it’s a stain, it won’t be for long! I constantly get grease stains on my clothes and Oil Flo removes them completely! I even won a bet after a friend got oil and grease all over a white t-shirt (and I mean all over it) and he was about to throw it out. I said wait, that can be cleaned. He insisted that nothing could clean a shirt that dirty. It did take two spraying and washings but the shirt showed no sign of ever being dirty. It will even remove tar from clothing. I’ve used it to remove labels from plastic without harming it, remove oil stains from concrete, tar from the cars and cleaned several other things. The only drawback is it has a strong odor and needs to b used in a well ventilated area. I highly recommend this product.

Still waiting to use the cleanser on remainder of the kitchen floor. Hopeful test patch area. Works well and easy clean up. Fast shipping. Reasonable price.

I used this product to remove old tar based adhesive from a concrete floor in my home and it practically melted it off.The floor is completely free of any residue and is ready for tile.It does require adequate ventilation and I needed to use fans to help remove the smell.Also, I accidentily got the product on my fingers and it removed my nail polish!

Did not work as expected. Scraping is cheaper and more efficient.
