Are the black boots designed different from the other 2 colors, or is it just a bad piture

I have both this boot and the Ariat model 10010963 in brown. They look similar but the brown broke in immediately and are incredibly comfortable, while the black deertan have never broken in completely and have not felt as comfortable.

I’m on my feet for 10 hrs a day . Will these boots be good for that or not good if I’m on my feet that long

Question hard to answer definitively as I wear mine at present at most 2 - 3 hours. You might contact Ariat's Customer Service via Ariat's Website. My guess (and it is just a guess!) is you most likely would not be comfortable wearing the boots that long of a time. However, if you made sure that they fit you perfectly (socks) to and utilized one of Ariat's many types of Cushioned Inserts and/or got Arch Supports from Dr. Fredrick's Original Website, you might be OK -- but no guarantees
