Shelves are very sturdy, easy to put together and could be made as long running set of shelves giving more storage space. Quick with getting them shipped out. A very good experience

Extremely easy to assemble compared to other shelves. Very heavy duty very well packaged. To heavy and one person can’t move alone. This was a great purchase if you want a heavy duty shelving unit.

It is good quality but its pricy

This is exactly what it needs to be… a very stable and hearty shelving unit for the general household garage. It has great powder coating, decent welds and is very sturdy upon completion.I believe that this will stand the test of time and do exactly what it claims to do hold 2000 pounds per shelf. I’m glad I made this purchase and highly recommend that if you need to organize your garage at home, get you a couple of these.

Very heavy duty, easy to put together with two people, and durable. It is huge, so it won't work in small spaces. The only complaint I have is that it has wire racks that are not helpful. I went to the store and bought wood for the shelves.

This is an amazing shelf, it’s no joke. It’s literally the same type of shelving we used in a stockroom for a store I used to work in (a v large retail pharmacy). Shelves are adjustable, I left one off to fit what I wanted. I have two aquariums and two terrariums on it right now, about to swap the 30gallon on the bottom for another 75gallon like what is on the middle shelf. No issues since I got it, and I’m not worried about the weight or integrity of the shelf, it’s hardcore.

These are ok. They assemble quickly with one person. The center braces fit horrible in the side rails. Braces should be taller or it should have come with spacers to take up the extra space.. If you just tighten them down, it distorts the side rails. 2 thousand pound capacity per shelf is a joke. Maybe if you line each shelf with plywood, but even then, these things are not pallet racks! If you need to store crank shafts and cylinder heads on these, they are nowhere near heavy duty enough. Fortunately I only got them to tidy up the shop, store car parts on, etc. that being said, if you don't need to hold a whole lot of weight, they will be good for your needs. Another note, I bought 4 units... Because I butted up two of the pairs with shared side braces, I ended up with an extra entire shelf assembly. So in other words I got 5 shelf units for the price of four.

These shelves are better than any that I have ever gotten at The Home Depot! In comparison, they are more rigid and are specified to support more weight. Of particular interest is the Home Depot shelving uses thin particle board horizontal shelf material which sags over time and is affected by humidity (even supporting mold growth). These Ironton shelves, on the other hand, use welded galvanized steel mesh. These shelves will last much longer in out-buildings with no climate control.I wanted a set that I could move around so I welded up "dollies" to go under the supports at both ends (see photos). These worked out great! Using large diameter rubber castors that I found on Amazon.com allows the shelves to be moved silently and smoothly with a single hand.
