Must remove seat belts—a major hassle
Whatever the product details say, know that you absolutely DO have to remove the rear seat belts from the roll bar to install this cover. Knowing that, you'll also want to know that Jeep uses Loctite on the bolts, so getting them out requires considerable force. What's more, if the Torx skips and you round out the heads, you'll find yourself using a pipe wrench to get the bolts out. Once that happens, you'll want to buy new bolts so you can have seat belts again, but the only place you can buy them is the dealer, and they won't sell you the bolts separately, but only with the seat belt, so that's going to cost you $185 a seatbelt. Knowing all this, I'd recommend heating the bolts up with a butane torch to melt the Loctite before removing them. Then I'd use an impact wrench. And if you do that, then I'm sure you'll like your new roll bar covers.

Go with the vinyl option-see 13613.05 product review
There are forums out there with ideas for faded roll bar covers. Now that I've attempted just about every option, here's my feedback and recommendations: Don't even bother trying to Rit dye the old one, it doesn't work. Black fabric spray paint was effective so before buying a new one you may want to try that. I use the spiderwebshade which wore mine through in spots so it was time for me to replace. As far as I know, the Rugged Ridge poly and vinyl replacement roll bar covers are the only options out there (at least for the JK model). I started by purchasing the less expensive of the two (Poly -- item 13613.01). It appears as though mine came with material from two different lots or something. Some sections are more reflective and bluish looking while others appear more like the original cover - a dull, true black (more fabric looking). I've attached customer photo's so you can see what I'm talking about. I decided to exchange it for the more expensive vinyl option (item 13613.05 -- see separate review for that item). Once the vinyl arrived, I removed the poly to return it and found that in just 1 months time, the sections of fabric that appeared blue had faded (will attach additional photos to show this). The sections that appeared more black colored didn't show this fading (at least not after 1 month). But due to the variation in the material, basically instant fading, and comparing it to the vinyl cover once that arrived, I cannot recommend this poly cover. Vinyl is the way to go.

Look great
The new ones look fabulous but we haven't taken the time to put them on. It doesn't look easy. But once they are on it will be so nice.

Good quality item
Good quality item, the material is almost like the soft top just not as thick. I will have to wait for a hot day to install as it's best to let the material get warm and plyable. I will post more info after the install.

absolutely great value and would encourage anybody who's Jeep roll bar ...
I bought this on sale, absolutely great value and would encourage anybody who's Jeep roll bar cover is faded to replace it with this model. Material is very close to the OEM replacement, and as some reviewers mention, it's tight, but frankly, it has to be to ensure correct fitment. I would suggest visiting the Rugged Ridge website or one such as Quatratec to download the PDF instructions, you'll be removing the seatbelt rollbar attachments, the softtop if applicable, etc and the instructions will get you confidently through the install. Took me 1/2 hr to do with my son, helps to have a second person. I know that sun and the elements will fade this one as well, but will buy another from Rugged Ridge when that time comes...
