I've had the camera set up for a week now and perhaps that's not long enough to provide any sort of in-depth review. In the short term, however, I'm more than pleased with this product. It was amazingly simple to set up – once you have the CloudEdge app in place, it really becomes self explanatory. I hung the camera out in my car port where it keeps its watchful eye on part of my driveway and a section of my backyard closes to the house. In a gadget that costs less than a hundred dollars, I didn't expect much from features like body detection, but what do you know? Every time something moves in the Zumimall's impressively wide gaze, I immediately get an alert sent to my phone and I can clearly see images of whatever it was that got the camera to recording. I keep body detection on the low setting whenever I engage it and that's proven to be perfect. I didn't expect much from night vision, either, so I was surprised to see how crisp and clear images are even in the blackest of night. The mounts for this camera are awesome; well-made and versatile. I'm using the screw on mount at the moment, but I'm intrigued by the versatility of the magnet mound, which really holds on to the camera well. Everything about this camera so far surpassed my expectations. I've had zero problems with the camera or with the associated app. When I'm away from home and want to see what's going on in my driveway, the app loads fast as do the live images. I'm a week out and I've been using body detection every day and yet the battery is still near full. That's impressive. I don't doubt that the batteries will last for months without issue. In spite of that, I was quick to order the solar panel – it's only 25 bucks and it will be good to never have to worry about the battery. The panel itself feels well made and the mounts are solid. All around, this seems like an extremely well-thought out camera and the makers didn't go cheap on the peripherals. I don't know how they keep the cost so low, but as long as they do, I expect I'll buy at least two more of these cameras to place in and around my house. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.UPDATE: Nine months later, that camera is still rocking. Both the panel and cam have held up great through the hard Maine winter. I've recently moved the camera to a different location and don't have it hooked up to solar. I'm astounded at how great the battery life is on its own. Two weeks unplugged and it's still showing a full battery. Great camera.

I bought this because I love the fact it can run off solar. I did notice that the solar panel has to be slanted. I originally hung it flat, but didn’t work as well. As the battery went dead within two weeks. So once I put the bracket up, the camera stays charged. So far it’s been doing better.I’m still curious how it will do, in southern Ohio cold dreary weather.This camera is very easy to use. The SD card works great. And motion detector works good.If the battery doesn’t stay charged again, it is easy to take off & bring into the house to charge the battery.Also when you go to hook it up to your WiFi. You must be in the same room, as where your router is to connect. It will not work yo connect the first time when your far away. Once it’s connected your fine.I like this camera & would buy it again, even though I feel it’s a bit pricey. But you get what you pay for, is my thought!

I bought these solar panels about a month ago for my exterior Arlo essential cameras. I bought two to start to make sure they were good quality and ended up ordering an additional three to have them attached to all of my cameras. They have been keeping all of my camera is fully charged, and I have not had any issues. Installation was quick and easy. I screwed some in where there was wood to screw into and they held up great. I was also able to put them up using vinyl, siding clips, so I did not even have to drill any holes on the sides of the house. Hopefully they continue to perform the way they have been since installation, so I won’t have to get up on a ladder anymore to charge my cameras.

Great charger for the money! When the sun is out , it only took about 3.5 hrs to charge the camera battery from 20% to 100%, and it seems to charge even if its cloudy!

i needed to replace the solar panel for my zumimall camera..gardener cut the cordi highly recommend this company..they have terrific customer service and easy to work with.the camera is awesome...and offers great security.EXCELLENT CAMERA AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

I received this solar panel to charge my Zumimall camera as I got tired of climbing on a ladder to take it down every time the battery got low. In reviews dated 2 yrs ago, the solar panel cable came with the replacement wire cover plug attached at the end of the cable so one could simply remove the old camera plug on the back and use the new plug on the cable. Well, now the cable comes without the plug. I tried to reach the customer service chat that Amazon puts on the product. It was Zumi in Australia. I was told by someone on the chat that they are not the manufacturer of this product. She gave me an email for someone else. I tried emailing them. No response yet.On Amazon I questioned about the cable not having a plug. Someone replied that I need to push the cable through the old plug. No, I’m not going to try that as it may break the little silicone plug apart then I will have nothing to waterproof the camera’s USB and SIM card ports. I’m returning the solar panel and asking for a replacement. If the next one comes without the plug, I’ll just send it back as well. I’ll move the camera to another spot, probably in the garage, where it won’t be such a pain to take down and charge. Then I’ll throw it away when the battery has served its useful life. I’ll buy a RING camera and solar panel now for the spot outside where I take down the Zumimall. It’s just old technology. I bought it probably 3 yrs ago anyway. Can’t really ask for more. I have 2 Ring cameras and very satisfied with them.
