Adaptor FD to EF
This adaptor fits great and lets me use all my old Canon A1 lens on my Canon 600D. Don't get all the automatic settings the new equipment gives you but I started out in the manual days so it works great for me.

Thius adapter works like a charm!
I've tried other adapters for Canon FD to Canon EOS and none of them worked. This one worked great! I can get Focus to Infinity and beyond. Goes on easy, and coms off easyif needed. The image is sharp and so is the build quality.

FD to EF mount is difficult to adapt
I have had a difficult time adapting FD lenses to EF mount. The three main problems are: 1. No electronic coupling 2. Vignetting 3. Focus Errors. The first is obvious, the aperature blades will not operate electronically. You must set them manually. The second problem I have noticed mainly with telephoto lenses on a full frame EOS cameras. The tunnel effect on the outter edges seems to get worse at 200mm focal length lenses or greater. Crop sensor cameras won't have this issue. The third problem seems to be at the infinity mark on the focus ring. Up close objects, no probem, but far away objects will be soft and out of focus. The lens inside the adapter corrects the problem somewhat, but not completely. I might try another adapter and see if that helps. The flange distance from the sensor to the back of the lens will be an issue with the EF mount.

Not what I'd hoped. Wanted to adapt a Vivitar 55mm 2.8 Macro with an FD Canon mount to a DSLR Canon EOS. Attaching the adapter was a bit glitchy but after a little patience it fit the EOS just fine. The frustration begins when you bring your photos to the computer and find that the focus quality is not what you expected. The excitement of having your Macro lens back in your lens arsenal quickly fades. Although the subject appears to be in focus through the view finder you quickly find the final photo is just out of focus. I tried readjusting the diopter on the view finder, not it, tried adjusting lens focus in front and in back of the subject, not it. Tried mirror lock-up, not it, tried setting highest quality photo and ISO to 100, not it. Adjusting the aperture to f8 helped. Knowing what the lens is capable of without the adapter, I would rate the focus quality with the adapter a 7 or 8 out of 10.It is what it is, a poor man's way to add a new (old) lens to their digital camera. The adapter works adequately but I would not recommend it if you are expecting the sharpness of your original lens.

Exactly What It Is
A nice solid little adapter that does exactly what it says it does. It comes in a plastic box which is nice, but there's no padding inside it which isn't as nice. Worth it if you have a EF body and have or will have FD lenses.

Didn't Exist
The person that owns the local camera store, told me this item didn't exist, there was not a converter that would take my lens from an AE to the new canon EOS. That even if there was the auto settings would not work and would have to be set on manual. He wanted me to bring it in when I received. He was also impressed and was glad to know there was an adapter and would tell his clients. However, in all fairness, I have only taken two pictures with this but the auto settings on the camera seem to also work.

I Like K&F Concept Products
I now have three different K&F Concept lens adapters and am delighted with the quality and functionality of all of them. This particular adapter I wanted to use on 4 Canon FD prime lenses I had picked up, 28mm, 50mm, 135mm and 200mm, to use on my Canon 7D and 50D, it works brilliantly on both. Obviously you set your aperture on the lens plus focus manually but all great fun and whilst a lot slower than using a modern lens with electrical contact between the body and the lens, the results from 'vintage' lenses can be quite stunning. Although obviously different but a similar adapter, I also have a K&F adapter that allows me to use the same FD lenses on my Lumix G80 4-3 mirrorless camera, that works brilliantly too !

white artefact when closing aperture on lenses 50mm and above no focus on infinity
I bought this adapter to use with canon 5d mark IV. On lenses 28mm and 35mm was not that bad. But on lenses 50mm and above , ( I have 135mm and 200 mm) when closing aperture there was white artefact on each photograph. With Longer lenses effect was worsening. Also on every lens I've tested there was no focus on infinity. So if you are planning to use for close ups full open it will be fine but otherwise not really.

... fd lenses and a new 80d camera I would like to say at this time it feels a quality ...
Bought this cos I have some old fd lenses and a new 80d camera I would like to say at this time it feels a quality bit of kit. Now I have had some issues with it regarding a flare in the centre of the image, it looks the same as the dampness you get on the inner elements with big temp changes That circular mist. But it is a flare and I can work with it, the old lenses have full focal function to infinity and the manual side is great to play with :) how many pics can you fit on 32 gigs. I was on the verge of sending it back so glad I gave it a second chance. Hope my comments are useful.

Perfect solution and cheaper than camera brands equivalent
It allows you to use CANON FD mount lenses and macro accessories on Canon EOS cameras. Used on Canon 80d with only small issue of flare but no a big issue and varies on lenses.

prettaaay, prettaaaaay, prettay good
Good quality metal build, however it does not allow infinity focus on my Canon FD 200mm F2.8. Although it might be my lens as its a repair. Glass is alright. Very soft images when wide aperture. dont really know if it was worth it. does add a spice of creativity to your lens arsenal.
