Anker has become my go to when it comes to cables and battery tech. I’ve used their longer cables for years due to their high durability and difficulty to break. When I needed a shorter one to use alongside my power bank I turned to this and it has been great. The smaller size makes it much more convenient to carry around when travelling. The same quality as I’d come to expect and at a lower price than Apple.

Purchased this mainly for the anker name due to owning several other items I own including power banks which are super reliable and reliable to take as carry on for a plane ride, I normally plug a USB fan etc and keep phone charged even tho I sit in business class i constantly use the power brick, anyway back to the wire, unfortunately this began to break at the end and ended up having to annoyingly move it around for that famous beep from an iPhone charging noise, I’ve purchased a second one and hopefully Anker customer services email me to send out a replacement incase my new one does the sameHowever for the price i highly recommend buying it as it never once came up with the “incompatible device” notice so top marks for thisUPDATE********Contacted Anker they requested I showed them proof it’s their cable and it’s damaged, sent the photos in they reviewed them and then requested I completely make the cable incable of being used again so I broke the chip and ripped some wires outNew cable will be here 3-7 business daysHighly recommend Anker products you won’t find anything near as close to perfection with their products

So do you? Like do you really need this cable? I was pretty indecisive for a while because it is a little more expensive than others, and its a cable. Do I want to spend and hours pay on a cable? But yeah its totally worth it.Anker know what they're doing in this department, its strong, the cable has a certain weight to it that almost makes me believe it would be very hard to tear/split. The connector end itself is aluminium, with a thick rubber band protecting that bit that iPhone cables usually bust at, which underpins my confidence.Ive be charging my iPhone with an iPad charger and regular Apple lightening cable for the majority of the time as I believed this would umpth up my charging speed, but this has had nothing on this cable with a USB C plug. It's dramatically increased my quick charging time, OBVS this is down to the combo of the plug and the cable not just the cable on its own, but its still impressive, like 40% charge in 20 minutes.Overall yeah, good cable, little more expensive but going to last a lot longer than others, plus get a longer cable than you think you'll need as you'll be thankful later down the road.
