Minimalist quick release skewers
I bought a set of these just as a test without really expecting to like or use them. But I found them to be well made, thoughtfully designed and effective. I bought a road set for an older bike with 126mm rear spacing with thick aluminum dropouts and they fit just fine. It’s easy to achieve a repeatable amount to torque using a short 5mm Allen wrench I keep on the bike. They consist of a very long 5mm socket head cap screw that makes up the skewer, an aluminum washer / bearing component with radial serrations to grip the dropout, and essentially a nut on the other end with similar radial serrations and a thoughtful insert to act as a thread locking device, very much like a nylock hex nut. They’re clean, simple, thoughtfully designed and effective. I bought one pair in black and a second pair in silver. I like their minimalist design and the ability to achieve repeatable torque by feel when hand tightening them. And at $10 for a set you can’t go wrong.

Simple and Effective
I prefer to use this style of skewer as opposed to traditional quick release. Cleaner look, and a mild theft deterrent, as it makes stealing your wheels a little more complicated. These skewers were about 1/2 of the price of the name brand variety I've used in the past, and the fit, finish and overall quality seems about the same. I'll call that a win.

Work very well
Lighter than my titanium skewers. Work well. Easy to tighten with a torque wrench.

Perfect!
I tried the Delta Axle-Rodz but they were too short in the front for a secure grip; not where you want that. These are half the price, they fit perfectly, and they are even available in black. Can’t beat win, win, win!

Locking Skewers
Both skewers fit well. Both tightened up well and seem to do a good job securing the wheels. Very easy to install. Although the back one could’ve been a bit longer. But, my drop outs are kind of thick so maybe thats why. Quality construction and piece of mind that my wheels will be safer in the city. Would recommend.

Metal?
Gonna strip them for sure. First tighten it rounded under very light hand tight pressure. But hey if they are stripped your wheel will be even more safe…spend a few more bucks on better ones.

Get rid of Quick Release now!
Who makes an ebike with Quick Release skewers? I mean like really? So I picked up this set to replace those and secure the wheels. This is a good set for sure, just enough fuss to ward off the casual or opportunistic thief. Just check your sizes first and get the right size.

Road means road
Beware, the rear skewer is 5mm short of being usable for 135mm rear hubs. So 'road' here means the old 130mm rim brake standard, unless you have unusually thin (e.g. steel) drop-outs.

Excellent security upgade
I don't know who's idea it was to put quick release axles on bike wheels, but it was not a good idea. I've always carried an extra long cable lock to prevent my wheels from being stolen when I lock my bike up. This upgrade has helped to alleviate that fear. The skewers fit perfectly, and will make it much harder for any would-be thieves to steal my wheels.

Good quality and fit
Good quality and fit, made my Son's bike a lot safer after changing the 'quick release' version that came on the bike. Unless a thief happens to travel about with tools, it will be harder to randomly steal a wheel or two!
