Although I had to return it because it didn't fit the project, the wood was absolutely lovely without any flaws and the customer service was absolutely courteous and prompt.

Got 8 of Purpleheart and 8 of Cherry. Nice and straight, consistent beautiful color. Solid grain. Very happy.

I did not use these for turning, I use them for a DIY project. Very good quality wood, slight blunting, rounding, or deformation of some edges was present in mine. Could have been from something like an accidental drop before or after packaging, who knows. The couple of the long edges showed beautiful grain detail. Also, looking down the faces lengthwise, they weren’t all perpendicular with each other on every side, in other words, the squares on the ends were a little skewed, not 90 degrees perpendicular on each side. 2 of the 4 were straight enough, but not perfect. Each lengthwise face cut was a perfectly flat plane as you would expect from a saw cut.

I know they are cherry turning blanks but I used for speaker stands. They are beautiful and a full 2” x 2”. Was going to paint piano black but tiger stripes are just too pretty.

The cherry wood was exactly what I needed. Super easy to work in the lathe. And it was dry enough it took the danish oil perfectly

I have limited tools in my shop and needed nice table legs. These are perfect. The came without blemish and are ready to be incorporated into the project.
