Great game for young players
I buy a lot of Wii games based on what I think my 2 children will be able to do with it, they are 4 and 6.This game is great for them. The 6 year old can play this by herself without adult assistance which rates this game very high on my list. the 4 year old loves it, but requires some help since the movement around requires use of the toggle on the nunchuk, and that requires some dexterity she hasn't perfected yet.the only thing that gets them is that if it's being played without adult assistance, then sometimes the boggs can surround the character can trap it, and the kids get quickly upset that they're being trapped and attacked. There is no killing in this game, the characters just loose magic on a meter, and the boggs turn into butterflies, so it's pretty harmless.the length of game is ok, the 6 year old has now beaten the game, with some help, in about 4 hours.I would recommend for young girls, but just realize that some dexterity is required since it requires use of both hands plus the left thumb at the same time.UPDATE: My 6 year old can now beat the game by herself now without assistance in about 3 hours. Doesn't stop her, she's played it all the way through 3 times in the last week. She says it is still SO much fun, so it hasn't lost it's appeal. I am hoping that I can find another game that requires similar skill levels. Also, this game has a pretty detailed, verbally narrated story line that they like, so there isn't any required reading of tiny cramped font words for young kids.

Great game for young girls, nice dual play option
We have a 7 year old and a 4 year old. Both really enjoyed the game, but especially our 4 year old. We took our time exploring and using magic on stuff rather than just trying to finish and spent about 20-30 minutes on each of 12 chapters, usually only one chapter per session. Our youngest likes it so much that the game has inspired her to use her imagination to play with her princess dolls. She will play for an hour or more engrossed with her "Princess Wii" dolls (i.e. Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, Jasmine, and Bell) imagining them in situations inspired by the game. The other thing we really liked about the game is that the princess is controlled using both the controller and the nunchuck. The controller controls the magic wand and the nunchunk controls where the princess goes. This was great for allowing both of our girls to play together at the same time taking turns on each controller. When our 4 year old played alone, my wife or I used one control. Our 7 year old could handle both controllers at the same time.Lastly, the 4 main princesses (Bell is a mini game, mainly just an excuse to include Bell) each have 3 chapters with two princesses listing the difficultly as "Easy", one "Medium", and one "Hard". However, even for our 4 year old none of the games was really very hard. If you're looking for a game with great game play this is probably not for you, if you're looking for a game with a story to engross little girls who love princesses, then this game is perfect. Even the ending was done pretty well.

Great for little girls
This is a good game and will be a pretty safe bet as you try to find a game for your 4+ year old little girls. 4-5 year olds may need some help from time to time, especially to know what to do next, but it is easy enough for them to play. There is a two player option that is good for a mom or dad to play along with. There are challenges in each of the characters' worlds, and there is some freedom in moving between princess world to princess world. Your little girl gets to play a child princess that is needed to help the other princesses on their challenges. The wii remote is literally used like a want to cast spells and the num chuk is mainly used for moving around. My little girl doesn't play it a lot because she's not a huge princess fan right now and the wii remote and num chuk are still a bit of a challenge for her, but the game is good enough that I think she'll play with it more as she gets a little older and wants to play games more often. Bottom line... it's a good game for its audience.

Perfect game for daughter, parent needs to play as well for young ones
My 4 year old daughter loved playing this game. It is by far her favorite game. If your daughter is familiar with all of the Disney princesses, such as Snow White, Cinderella and Little Mermaid, she will be having the time of her life exploring the various princess worlds. The game has the action and play of a role-playing game, but in a way that is gentle for young children. I will have to say, the controls and objectives are not easy for a four-year old, but the co-op mode solves this problem quite well and the parent can play as player 1, and the daughter as player 2. Obviously, we're talking about wii graphics here, but relatively speaking the graphics are very well done, particularly the artwork and atmospheres throughout the game. I was pretty impressed that when *we* won the game, my daughter eagerly wanted to start it over and complete all the quests again.
