Campfire in a Cup - Pure Comfort
I’ll pay for coffee. And have. Honestly, there is some correlation between cost and quality, but not in every case. Here is one of those exceptions.Coffee has been both passion and addiction for 50 years, Sumatran and Yirgacheffe being my choices. This is the Sumatran I buy for a simple reason - great freaking coffee whose flavors and characteristics you can explore or just say “ahhhh” to. Deep caramel/chocolate notes; balanced acidity - rounded as it should be with enough bite to let you know it’s still coffee. Deep, medium-heavy overall profile, but runs the palette like silk with a lingering “Sumatran” liquid smoke haze.Taste is a matter of taste. I can’t speak for the 1/2 star ratings for that reason. But to me, this Sumatran is as approachable as it is complex and would be satisfying to the store brand-Colombian buyer as much as it would be to the single-origin Blue Mountain buyer.Enjoy. And spend less. Real value.

Not bad, but I expected more
Ok, so it's hard to write a review about something when everyone has a different taste. My wife did not like it all. She'd give it 2-3 maybe. Me? It's a dry bean so it doesn't gum up my grinder. That's good. It smells nice. But when I ground the same amount I'd been using with another Italian coffee (which isn't dark roasted), it tasted stale. It's not, but I wasn't using enough beans. So once I amped up the amount, it tasted much better. And there's the problem. I'm going to be going through more coffee to get the taste I want with another vendor. So I'm giving a 4 because it's a dry bean and I like the taste. But I'm taking off a star because I have to use too much to get the desired flavor.

Great taste
This is great tasting coffee. I decided to get a subscription. Very smooth and robust flavor, at a great price! I would definitely recommend it. Even coloration of beans, and grinds easy.

Fast and value
I have ordered this brand of coffee beans for about a year now and about every two months. Flavor is wonderful, it’s always fresh and the value would be hard to beat. There are several different flavors from different country’s I think but I have tried a couple different ones and they are all great.

Coffee beans are great. Unfortunately, bottom of the bag blew out and 1/4 of total was loose.
Beans are great with a nice dark aroma and richness. Unfortunately, the bottom of the bag had blown out and fully one quarter of the entire amount of beans were loose in the outer container which, instead of a box, was a bag. Unknown if contaminated or not, but please, do not put bags in bags. They should have been in something a bit more sturdy like a box.

Good coffee
Good coffee at a reasonable price. It's a reasonably dark roast with good flavor.

Bold with bitterness and good caffeine levels
Overall it's a good wake up coffee, very bitter if drunk straight in my opinion, but with a little sugar and milk it's definitely tasty. I drink it from a standard coffee maker so I can't say how it'd be in another coffee making method. Still very good coffee for me.

Really great coffee
I’ve been buying Kirkland Colombian for years since it’s the best bag of beans I can find in Australia. However, they ran out or stopped selling it. This Copper Moon Sumatra is a superior replacement but quite a bit more expensive. It’s stronger but not more bitter or sour so very happy with it.

Great coffee
Decided when price of my usual ‘L’ beans suddenly spiked. No regrets, in fact, a pleasant discovery. Coffee isn’t bitter nor acidic (my view, of course) and compares well with ‘Sb’. Nice drink.

A waste; an expensive waste
Horrible, toxic chemical taste, I could only have a sip or two and even that left me worried that I had been poisoned! I am sending the whole bag to a lab for testing. I want to know what is in it for my own peace of mind.
