I personally thought the samples were a little small, but my 9 year old loves them. The accompanying poster is proudly displayed on the wall.

Says it comes with 250 an more but no it did not. Some of the rocks were very small.was making gem mining bags for grandkids an nieces an nephews had 10 kids to make bags for an some of the rocks was so small. Ihad To go to a craft store to buy more so I could make them look even. Wish I would have taken pictures. Only 5 fossils in it an 170 rocks an gems.

My 11 loved the collection and educational. Only downfall was once removed from tray identifying the rocks we're difficult as some are similar.

This was purchased as a gift for my six year old Grandson who collects rocks. He was very excited to check out his new rocks. The rocks were smaller than I expected, but didn’t seem to make a difference to my Grandson. He liked the colors and shapes. The packaging was nice and I’m pleased with the product.

Some of these were extremely small - like too small. It's good value for your money, but keep in mind what your purpose for them is. You wouldn't think it could be these small, like tiny pebbles, but some are.

For my rock and mineral obsessed 7 year old, this was a great little set for the price. Key word little! These are small rocks, but they are high quality and my daughter enjoys looking at them and reading about them. A great addition to her collection.

I bought the 10 Geode box for an activity with my grandsons. There were only 8 inside and not the 10 stated on the box. It was very disappointing to have so few and then 6 of the 8 were solid without any crystals inside. I will not buy this again.

At first when it arrived, I was worried because it was so small. However, my son loved it! I also loved that it came with a poster that explained the types of rocks and my son enjoyed looking for them.

It's a small box of stones. I didnt check for the size before buying it. Nevertheless, it was a decent product. It will be good to have more reading materials with it.

Mi hijo y yo no somos expertos en piedras, pero por ejemplo tenemos una pirita y la que viene en este empaque está muy fea parece una piedra común y corriente con brillitos. Y pues buscamos algunas piedras en Internet y no parece mucho a las que vienen en el empaque, pero hay otras piedras que si se parecen a las originales, asi que no se que pensar al respecto.

250 plus pieces is an understatement !!!! had so much fun going thru all the crystals !! theres not many BIG pieces but there hundred of small crystal chips! its exactly what i need, i buy these kits to add into my candles ! takes a couple hours for me to sort thru all the colors / specimens ! you get your moneys worth ! just the big ones bought at a crystal store would almost be the price of the whole box !!!! theres many neat craft ideas you could do aswell with the chips ! lots of the crystals are rejects witch i like because perfectly tumbled stones are boring ! they all look the same ! so if you like odd shaped / looking crystals this is your best bet !

Lots of variety. Had a lot of rocks/minerals he had not seen before. The poster was helpful. It could be improved by putting a number on each piece so they can be put back if they spill.
