Awesome. I regularly sleep in the back of my SUV in random parking lots and garages. I rigged up some black-out curtains to block the light, but they are a huge PITA to deal with. I found these, and after trying them for a few days at home to make sure they were comfortable, I took them on the road. 24 hr Wal-mart parking lot after drinking all the beer Charlotte has to offer. Didn't put up the curtains. Total black-out of all light and super comfortable to wear. Slept better than ever, waking less throughout the night. Woke up in the morning around 9am, took them off and I was blinded by the sun coming into the back of my truck. Normally that would have awoken me, even if I had just got asleep, but I had no idea. Again super comfortable, will fit large heads. And blocks just about all the light, even with your eyes open, although you will sleep better if you close them.

As someone that needs complete darkness to sleep soundly, this sleep mask from PLEMO has been a lifesaver!The mask comes in a nice pouch to store it in when not in use. It is made of silky material and has a wide Velcro band in the back. I did not notice any type of odor when using this mask. I really like that the eye holes are contoured so they don't sit right against your eyelids. This allows me to blink and move my eyes without disturbing the mask. The stretchy Velcro band holds the mask securely to my face and I haven't noticed much shifting during the night at all.Since I have been using this sleep mask I have slept much more soundly and don't notice myself waking up as much during the night. If you are someone that suffers from migraines I could see this sleep mask being very helpful for that also.Disclaimer: I received this item free or discounted for my honest unbiased review.

I have been using another brand of sleep mask for years, but that one has a full nose guard (for keeping light from peeking in the bottom) and it was getting uncomfortable whenever my allergies acted up (which is more and more frequently now). So I really wanted to try a sleep mask without a nose guard. The PLEMO mask arrived in a nifty clear bag that is great for travel, but since I don't travel with mine I immediately started using it with the little satin bag I was using with the old mask. The PLEMO mask is as soft as everybody here is saying. The velcro strap is comfortable and adjustable. The outer fabric is satiny smooth. The mask itself is made with memory foam, with depressions over the eye sockets so that it doesn't press on your eyelids while you're sleeping. The depressions aren't as deep as the other mask, so my lashes bump the fabric whenever I open my eyes, but it is still very comfortable when my eyes are closed. The mask is thicker on the top of the eye socket than the bottom. It does a primo job of keeping light from peeking in the top, much better than the other mask. It is less good at keeping light from peeking in the bottom, which I was kind of expecting. Again, this isn't a big problem as long as your eyes are closed, you will only notice the light with open eyes. I use a sleep mask to keep from waking up with the sun because I work odd hours, so for my purposes the mask works great.

The layers began peeling apart pretty quickly after regular use. Maybe this mask is good for occasional travel use, but it's terrible as a nightly light-blocking solution. It may be soft, but it is not durable in the least. I do not recommend this product unless you want to constantly be realigning the mask's material before every use.UPDATE: I was contacted by Avantek and offered a full refund for my purchase, along with an apology from the customer service department for the product's quality. I feel this was a particularly nice gesture by the company, and while I won't be purchasing their sleep masks again, it does them credit that they reach out to their customers like this and I am more likely to consider other products from this company as a result.

I was in love with this lightweight Sleep Mask that replaced one that I had for years.....key word being "WAS" after only 2 months it started falling apart. The covering has completely pulled apart from the seams and I have to either try to sew it myself (I don't sew) or throw it out. I'm super sad. I had high hopes for this comfy mask.6/30/2017 Update: I have had my new mask now for several months, the new design structure is soooo much better than the original that I bought last year. It has the same great feel and eases me into a nice sleep. I will buy from this company again. Thanks for caring enough about your customers and products to ensure satisfaction.1/18/2018 Update: Sigh - this product once again begin to unravel back in August and I have been fighting nightly to keep it together. So frustrating. When it isn't unraveling, coming apart at the seams it's great...but that only last for 2 to 3 months. What gives Avantek? And no response to my last inquiry.............

I like it. It's very comfortable and stays in place well. The only downside I've found is light coming in around the bridge of my nose. So no complete darkness in a lit room, but very close. The biggest benefit is I can open my eyes while wearing this mask, something I couldn't do easily with my previous mask. While this may seem a small thing my first reaction when surprised awake (usually by one or more barking dogs) was to try and open my eyes. Though I got used to it, mostly by whipping off the mask before I tried, it was disconcerting at first. Didn't even realize I missed it 'till I had it back.I haven't had a chance to wash it yet, so I can't speak to how much wear and tear it can take. I can say that not having any clips breaking means I won't have to throw this one out anytime soon.

It's comfortable and does the job. Only thing I found was some light gets through the nose area.

By some way the best eye mask I have owned. Without the nose piece that most eye masks seem to have these days, this fits so much better: a good seal against light all round and no bleed from around the nose, which is so common.The eye mask is made from a very soft material that is really comfortable overnight. There is plenty of space to open your eyes or blink under the domed eye pieces; the elasticised headband doesn't seem to have any lumps or bumps where the two halves join and adjust, making it very comfortable to sleep on. Everything seems very well designed and well constructed, and so far I'm really impressed. Without a doubt the comfortable eye mask I've used and by some measure the most effective at blocking light.
