Working great!
So glad I splurged on this purchase. I've swam (indoors) over 30 miles with this so far and it's held up great. While swimming, I listen to classical, electronic, rock, acoustic (Jim Croce type), lectures and sermons and all genres have come through crystal clear through splashing, etc.One of the tree-looking earbuds tore when I was putting it on a speaker, so that's useless now, but it's cheap to replace. I've never used in-ear buds before so there was a bit of a learning curve for me; their customer service was really responsive and eager to help with my naive questions. It's important to make sure you find the buds that fit the tightest as the earphones may become separated from the earbuds after you try taking them out after a swim, requiring a pair of tweezers to get the buds left behind...I saw a lady at the pool with one of these and her headphone cord was quite long and she had it wrapped around her goggle straps. It looked like a mess compared to the efficient headphones sold in this package. I keep the ipod on the bottom strap of my goggles and the earphone's wires barely hang passed the base of my neck. When in use, they stretch perfectly to the ears, no slack at all. Just a great design for this use.The only con I can think of has nothing to do with this product, but wearing them, you hear *nothing* outside of your music. So any kind of small talk for us break-takers or a greeting for the person who asks to share your lane are awkward/difficult. Overall, I can't recommend this enough if you want some music (etc.) for your workouts.

Love My Waterproof Audio Flood iPod Shuffle
I feel energized when swimming with my new waterproof iPod Shuffle. It works well. I clip the iPod to the back of my goggles headband and insert the earbuds. Music volume is slightly muffled in the water, but I am still experimenting with the different earbud options. Easy to download music from iTunes to my computer then upload to the Shuffle.Since my initial purchase, my wife and daughter purchased identical units. We all love swimming to music.TIP: We found that by inserting the earbuds in your ears prior to entering the pool provides the best music fidelity - (i.e., The ear buds prevent water from entering your ears.)

Very impressive, ear buds stay put all the 1.15 workout
Well so far so good, I was impressed with the headset they stay in place. I swim 3000 meters daily so they’ll get a good trial with me. So adding to my post, I have had problems with one earbud cutting out. It bothers me because I don’t want to listen through 1 ear, I tried switching ears, and switching buds (had success with Underwaterworld buds) still did the same. I stop , pull the guilty bud off the base and suck, water actually comes out, I then replace the bud and it’s fine, sometimes I have to do it once or twice a swim, I’m swim for an hour and swim quite hard. It’s becomming very annoying. I think I’ve had them a few months, certainly not a year.

Great Product, Needs Better Headphone Design for Women
I have considered purchasing an Audioflood iPod Shuffle for over a year. I am training for several Olympic-distance triathlons this year and finally made the purchase. I do not know why I waited so long! Here a few pros and cons focused on the specifics of wearing this while swimming and the Audioflood headphones (since Audioflood can't be held responsible for irritating iPod Shuffle features):Pros:- Helps tremendously with focus/anxiety during long swims- Sound is excellent- Entirely unnoticeable when wearing- Great for other kinds of exercise (and for those of us who sweat a lot)- Once the headphones are inserted correctly and firmly (see my cons below) the fit provides a watertight seal and removes the need for earplugsCons:- The headphones are nearly impossible to insert firmly and correctly into small ear canals without a lot of finagling. I posted about this purchase on a women's tri forum and nearly everyone responded with the same issue. I practiced for over an hour at home before finally nailing the complex ear insertion dance (twisting like a corkscrew while pushing very hard). I do not know if I could have achieved a good fit if my ear canals had been smaller. I would strongly encourage Audioflood to look at how these headphones fit women, since it seems to be a universal issue! I am giving them four stars as a result of this oversight. There are annoyances with the iPod Shuffle to be aware of prior to purchasing: music must be purchased from iTunes to load on to the Shuffle. Downloaded Apple Music songs will NOT work on an iPod Shuffle. This represents 99% of my music, so it was incredibly annoying to have to spend another $20-30 on iTunes. Again, not Audioflood's problem, but something I wish I had known when budgeting for this purchase!
