I got this product to replace the original Wagner roller because "someone" failed to clean it properly after using it with latex paint. This one fit the bill perfectly and I recommend it highly.

Do not hesitate to buy a few of these if you're buying something like the Sidekick.These are 10 times better than the crappy, random branded ones sold at HD. I used these on both smooth walls and walls with fresh knockdown applied. They roll great on either. The coats come out even and it stays saturated well. The design does a good job of spreading the paint on the roller evenly as it pumps in and gets rolled.Can't say the same thing about the twice-as-expensive ones at HD. They just pump out of several little holes and the paint gets applied to the wall in little dots that have to then get spread with multiple passes. TERRIBLE. UPS showed up with my Amazon order mid-job and I tossed the HD brand roller and threw on a Wagner....night and day...can't express that enough. They also clean-up pretty well. You'll get a few uses out of them if cared for properly. Use some Dawn detergent when cleaning up to keep them soft.

This is the second home I’m using the Wagner system to paint. Love the system because it quickly allows you to paint without wasting time. The rollers for the system work well to allow the paint to be evenly distributed. This current batch of rollers seem to shed a lot more. I had noticed it in my previous paint job that I did in my condo seven years ago but only saw a few fibers here and there, and really didn’t consider that it was noticeable enough to be a problem. This time around, the shedding is very noticeable. And the rollers don’t last that long. You know when the rollers are going because they become so flat that they’re not rolling on the surface properly and even washing them doesn’t get them back up to a good fluff. I think for painting three rooms, I had to use two rollers, where is previously I think I made it through three rooms in a hallway with two rollers. The picture is of an area 2 feet but long by 1 foot high and that is the amount of fiber lint coming off the rollers. Unfortunately, you don’t notice it initially while you’re painting it’s a really big piece of lint. but once to paint cures you will definitely see it.

Flowed well and allowed the paint to get in the walls like it should.
