I definitely recommend this if you have an ant problem. After using this product our ant problems are gone. Wil keep a bag on hand in case of future ant problems. It absolutely works and great value . We had an exterminator come which didn’t help . We bought this and used for several weeks and it eliminated our issue. Much more cost effective then hiring exterminators.

Last summer we had skunks digging up the yard at night - going after the grub population in our turf. The lawn looked like someone had taken a hand spade to it in patches every morning. This spring we put in fresh plant beds and I started seeing grubs in the soil as I worked. That was enough to get ahead of it. I put down GrubEx about eight weeks ago, watered it in, and let it work. The results have been clear: no skunk damage this season, the lawn is full, and when I dig around the new plants I am not finding the grubs I was seeing in early spring. For a single-application product at this price, that is the result I was hoping for. WHAT WORKS - One application covers 5,000 sq ft for the full season. Cost per square foot is reasonable compared to hiring a lawn treatment company. - Easy to spread with a standard broadcast spreader. Granules are uniform and do not clump. - Visible results within weeks. By week 4 I had stopped seeing fresh skunk damage. By week 8 the lawn had filled in and the new beds are undisturbed. - Set-it-and-forget-it timing. Spring application, done for the season - no follow-up needed. WHAT DOES NOT - You absolutely have to water it in. The instructions say this, but it is worth repeating - if you spread it and skip the watering, you have wasted the bag. Apply right before rain or right before you run sprinklers. - The bag is dusty when you cut it open. Stand upwind and wash your hands before touching your face. Not a deal-breaker, just a heads-up. WHO IT IS FOR Anyone seeing skunk, raccoon, armadillo, or mole damage in their lawn - that is the grub population getting raided - or anyone who has just put down new plant beds and does not want them undermined. If you have no signs of grubs and no animal damage, you probably do not need this yet. Wait until you see the problem. Five stars. Shaker bag great for application. It is decently effective, but the ants did move away from where I placed it and started over so wide application may be necessary. Used the liquid for years and love it and will keep using this name brand because it has been my go to for bug control.

The product definitely kills ants. The ants seem to move their nests just a few feet over though. I have decimated many ant mounds. Make sure you water it in good.

We’ve been using this in our yard for a few weeks to treat several problematic ant hills. I’ve followed the instructions on the packaging, and while it does seem to work initially, I haven’t had much luck getting rid of the ants for good. After treating an ant hill, the activity seems to die down significantly or disappear for a few days, which initially made me think the treatment was working. Unfortunately, the ants eventually seem to return and the hills become active again. I’ve treated the problem areas more than once and have continued to see the same results. It’s certainly possible that there is some user error involved or that our particular ant problem is more difficult to eliminate, so I don’t want to say that the product doesn’t work at all. It clearly seems to have some effect on the ants; I just haven’t seen the longer-lasting results I was hoping for. After several weeks of use, I’m pretty mixed on it. I’ll probably continue trying it since I already have it, but based on my experience so far, I’m not sure I would purchase it again or recommend it over other options.

Treated my 3 ant mounds by my walkway on Thursday night about 9 pm and by noon Saturday they were all dead. I love this brand- 100% recommended this product

Great product at great price. We spread it on the back patio of the house and the ants and bugs are gone after first application. So easy to use.
