Does it have a manual override in case of battery failure?

Yes. It has to have it. It is a red emergency button using a 9 volt battery to get it down.

Execuse me , Would you please advise if a 2 point walking sling would connect safely with the 6 point default bar that comes with the Hoyer Advance?

Mahmoud, I don't know the answer to that question. I only use a 4 point sling. The company that makes the Hoyer lift is called joerns. If you google joerns Hoyer advance it will show you a website called patient handling. This may answer your question.

Is this lift difficult to assemble? What's involved in the assembly? Also, how is it charged?

No it comes folded and you lift it up and lock it in place. It plugs into wall to recharge battery. I found it very easy to use however sadly for only 2 months before my spouse passed! Now I have to sell it!!
