Intern's dream
As a new intern, I was looking for a black pen that could write smoothly, in black ink, with zero smear, with a tiny footprint that would allow me to fit as much information on my endless to-do list at work as humanly possible. Enter the DONG-A Fine-Tech RT pens. Right out of the box, these things work great. Remove the nub, start writing. Zero problems - the 0.3 size is perfect, but the pen is sturdy enough that I can still write on copy paper packets and get through every page without destroying the pen. The only downside is that my attendings are now stealing my pens faster than ever, but thankfully there are enough in the box that it's a non-issue. I will definitely be coming back to these again and again.

they should not be pointy like a needle but a tapered tip that ends up ...
BEWARE.....I finally broke this box open to use and they don't work. I bought them in March of 2016 so they aren't returnable. The ink is there but nothing is coming out and now that I look at the picture, they are two different pens as the TIPS are completely different. Upon further research, they should not be pointy like a needle but a tapered tip that ends up being .3 as mine are like a diabetics needle point. Was so looking forward to using them as the reviews were great. Going to stick with Pentel Energel .7 as they rock. Oh well.

Does not have a smooth flow
It might be the way I write but the ink does not seem to flow smoothly from these pens. If I need new pens I might try the 0.5mm instead of the 0.3mm.
