Its worth it!
Dont think about it, get it! Do your research this MSD Intake pulls. Very happy with this mod.

Poorly designed, especially for LS1 application
This intake is very poorly designed. A company with MSD's reputation should have put a lot more effort into R&D on this product. For a part that's supposed to be a simple bolt-on, there's a ridiculous amount of work and other parts needed to use it on an LS1. New fuel rails because LS1 rails don't fit, water vent lines need to be replaced or modified because there's no room for them, the water pump needs to be replaced or ground down to fit, a $30 throttle cable bracket is needed whether using the stock throttle body or an aftermarket one... the list goes on. Not to mention a lot of people are having trouble getting this thing to seal properly. MSD really dropped the ball on this one.

Heavy duty build quality versus FAST but some extra costs/parts needed such as fuel rail and throttle cable bracket.
