Celtic Backup for All Instrumentalists

Very good book indeed, I recommend it. I am a violinist, and can’t play either the guitar or piano, but I now understand what the accompanists are doing, and, more importantly, I can write the chords for the backup musicians. Quite technical, and you need to treat this as a study book. A once read through just won’t do it! There is so little good stuff out there on this subject of this standard.

Most guitar tuition books use tab but this uses standard notation. This isn't mentioned in the description. The author is really discouraging telling the reader a number of times in the first chapter that he is bound to ruin any session he joins in with. How are we supposed to learn?

Absolutely useless ' downloads ' ...... tried with help with " Melbay " to access downloads ... nay good ?Do not buy the this copy ::::::: CD copy , very very expensive .......... I'm not a happy bunny ........
