Awesome Projector
The BenQ TH670 is an awesome projector for $599. The picture and colors are very good on the User 1 settings. The only other adjustment I made was to change the lamp power to economic and put the gamma setting to the BenQ option. It has a 3.5 mm audio out jack so I was able to hook it up to my Vizio sound bar. I Highly Recommend the BenQ TH670.

I bought The BenQ TH670 as an upgrade on my one-year old ms524, which is now mounted for my guests with the TH670 in the master bedroom. Although I grappled between the W1070 model and the TH670 I finally settled on the TH670 as the newer and more cost effective of the two models and must say I am extremely satisfied with the TH670, throw ratio, color contrast and resolution are great especially considering I’m throwing the image directly onto a white wall. The unit is silent and rather pleasant to look at however only draw back I find is that it doesn’t exactly stand up to ambient lighting as well as I hoped none the less it’s a great purchase and does a great job for gaming and home theatre alike.

Great picture and visual quality--poor build quality
Great picture and visual quality--poor build quality. Barely a year old and Fan #3 has failed, convenient now that the warranty is up. Seems to be a very common problem with Benq projectors after researching online. I won't be buying this brand again.

Multiple issues within the first 6 months
It's a really great projector...when it works. I've had this about 6 months, and watch movies, TV, and play video games on it, and it all worked great at first. I have it projecting at a size of about 100" diagonal, and hanging from the ceiling.BUT, after about 4 months of use on the default normal brightness setting, the lamp started to flicker ever-so-slightly. Putting it on a higher brightness setting made it go away, but the colors on that setting were not as good. And on this higher setting, it would eventually overheat and turn off. So I'm constantly having to monkey with the picture settings to make it work for any length of time.On top of that, now (only 6 months into the life of the projector) it will sometimes turn off as soon as I turn it on, blinking an error light. After a few attempts, it stays on, but it definitely shouldn't be having this many problems in its first year of life.I'm going to contact BenQ customer service and see if I just got a lemon. But first impressions are not good.

Nice unit and great picture
Nice unit and great picture. Wish it had an adjustment to adjust the parallax when the unit is not centered in the room.

Great Device for the Price
I did no much research on projectors it was insane. I do love the fact that I was able to make my own attachment from a 12"x12" piece of wood and some machiene screws (i cant remember the size) but then flipped it upside down and mounted it on the ceiling. It does take a hot minute to turn on (pun intended due to the bulb heating up) but for what the cost is, i love it. It is now the main point of focus in the man cave. I do have a few cons, but still for the price i cant complain... there is some light that escapes out the sides of the unit so the room if blacked out, will become fairly bright. The noise of the fan, when i pause the Movie or TV show does become apparent but goes away once you have your audio back on. The screen will pick out ANY and i mean ANY imperfections in the wall. I have looked at getting a screen but when they cost more than this projector, i just shake my head and keep dreaming. the color correction does work great, i have a slight yellow hue in the wall paint, and once you set the color correction, boom its like its on a white wall. One last thing, darks are really dark, i noticed sometimes i have to put the brightness up because the TV show is so dark. I guess thats just me having opinions, but its a great little device! would totally recommend!

Best. Projector. EVER
I bought 2 epson projectors that cost this much, and both of them sucked compared to this magnificent piece of technology. true 1080p, perfect color, perfect brightness, amazing vertical keystone (no horizontal... :/ ). The only other con I have with this is that it is pretty bulky, but I don't really care as much. I play the latest DOOM with this, and it runs like it was meant to be. Best investment I have made this 2016.

Great starter 1080p projector.
So far so good. Its got a pretty good picture although if your are zoomed in fully, you can see the pixels. The screen lightly flickers sometimes but im not sure if thats from the eco mode being on or from a quality issue. Other than that it is a solid projector. I run mine from 9 am till 10 pm at night and it runs pretty smooth. It is extremely quiet for being a projector.
