NOT PET SAFE!!
BEWARE!! The mat is covered with a black chemical smelling coat that does not clean up no matter how hard it's cleaned. To think how many animals walked in this and licked it off their paws! No where on the package does it give a warning of this. I learned this while wiping water that was spilled. Go with another buyer who sells, "Pet Friendly" merchandise. I will be returning this toxic cage!

Mini Condo For My Dog
The only "downside" which is not the fault of the seller or manufacturer, is that I chose a size that turned out to be really big. I got the 48" x 42" for my medium sized dog. It's huge.I've had a crate like this before, not from this seller, but it's identical (except size), and these are very sturdy crates. They have 2 openings: One on the smaller side, one on the larger side, so you're not forced to put your crate in only one certain way in the room, which I like. The tray pulls out from the bottom for easy cleaning without having to fight the crate or fold it down. You can either take it to the backyard and hose it off, or you just can use some Clorox wipes or dish rag and soap to clean it.To "assemble" it, all you have to do it pull it up. You take it out of the box, grab the top, and pull up. Then, you go to the smaller sides and click the edges underneath the tabs on the "roof". That's literally it. You do the reverse to fold it down. It's ridiculously easy.Anyway, the one I got is, as I said, way larger than I thought it would be, so I placed the brand new memory foam dog bed that I got for my boy inside of the crate. It fits perfectly. Now he gets to sit in comfort the entire time I'm at work. In fact, there's enough space in there, (I'm telling you, the 48 x 42 is huge), that I have enough room to put a water dish next to his memory foam bed. It's truly his den now. It's like an indoor dog house. AND, it didn't cost nearly as much as the ones I see in the store. The crate he used to have was 2 times smaller than this and cost the exact same amount from the store. The larger ones in the store were over $100. This is the same. exact. crate. And you're getting it at a steal!

Love it
Very nice. Very roomy. Can't go wrong for this price. I recommend!I want to update my review because I've had this kennel for some time now. I love it. It is a very nice kennel. I did put zip ties on the front of it where my puppy jumps the most. It keeps it securely together. When he gets really excited and jumps a lot He can knock it apart. And get out. So with zip ties in place he can not longer escape. 😉 I still highly recommend.

Poor value
Chintzy construction. I have no faith in this crate keeping my puppy secure even for the short time she is crated each day

Good, budget crate.
I've purchased dozens of these types of crates, over the years.Good, budget crates.Low-priced 48" XXL.I prefer these larger crates, even for small dogs. Just use the divider to limit space, if necessary.Partially cover the crate with a sheet, if it helps the dog feel more secure.Portable. Easy to set-up and to collapse. No tools needed.2 doors. Each locks, separately. If you find you use one door, only, then zip-tie the other one for more security.Zip-ties work great on the corners. Makes the crate feel sturdier. But, you won't be able to collapse the crate.Divider and pan are included.Black epoxy coated. You may find some bare metal ends. Quality control is not the best on economy crates.Thin gauge wire is expected in these low-cost, portable crates. These are not built to be extremely sturdy.Crates are essential, invaluable tools for the pet-owner, but proper training is a prerequisite. If not trained to view the crate as a sanctuary, a place of safety and rest, then any sized dog may do damage to any enclosure in short time.A pet may hurt themselves, severely, also, while trying to escape. So many videos available online on crate-training.

Worth it
Bought this for my golden retriever puppy. She is 3.5 mo now with the full range, and doing well. Used the separator 8wk-3 mo so that way she wouldn’t make too much noise and mess it up.It’s sturdy, easy to use and manipulate, and she isn’t able to chew it up. The flooring at they bottom is curved so that messes don’t leak out. She’s had some puppy tummy disagreements with foods, so I’ve cleaned the cage multiple times and plenty large enough. I got the 42” crate so it will be on size for her life (though won’t have her sleep in there her whole life, just until she won’t tear the house up).Great purchase and definitely worth it!!
